Had a nice dinner at Black Sheep and honestly, it was amazing. Being wanting to try out this place for so long. Sat at the bar and really enjoyed the cozy vibe while trying some great food and drinks.
The Black Sheep is ALWAYS a great place to go to and we keep reserving there, despite the distance. The young talented Chef snd her staff are always welcoming and the food is unlike anywhere else. A must!
I've been to Black Sheep a few times before and have left disappointed each time, but decided to give it another try for their New Year's Eve prefixed menu. Four of us went for the $95 per person menu. With drinks, the bill was about $500 and roughly $600 with tip. Unfortunately, the food was again mediocre. One of us ordered the Vegan cabbage dish — nothing special — yet it still came with a beet salad and an overwhelmingly sweet dessert we couldn't eat. The steak was tough, the fish tasted fishy, portions were small, and we left hungry. For the price, this experience was very disappointing and not worth
Booked a Table and had a child and they squeezed five places on a four top with empty tables . Not kid friendly , cadence of courses off , wait staff not attentive or even present . No sense of urgency or even decorum . No floor awareness what so ever . Will never return . Food is one quarter of the equation , they missed on everything else . Shame on you . Not worth $500 plus tip . Awful French 75 and cold meat . Mediocre salads , up side French onion soup
Food absolutely OUTSTANDING flavors would rate a 10 out of 5! Exceeded expectations. Unfortunately the service did not match the quality of the food and ambiance. I've had better service at Dennys.
Everything about our experience at Black Sheep was wonderful! We became familiar with owner, Jamie, during her time on Top Chef. We had a trip planned to Vegas for business and realized that her restaurant was near our hotel. Of course we had to indulge! Every dish was a flavor bomb - we tried four of her appetizers: hamachi, salmon skin tacos, steak tartare and chicken dumplings, followed by their signature tres leche chocolate dessert. Everything was unique in flavor and beautiful in presentation. Service was attentive, and we enjoyed the opportunity to chat with Jamie at the end of our meal. The best food in Vegas is off the Strip!

Food and presentation is wonderful. Salmon skin tacos and braised short ribs are phenomenal
Our dining experience was very enjoyable and relaxed. The food was very well prepared and TASTY!
We love The Black Sheep! We're huge fans and have made many visits since they opened in 2017. The only thing we wish is possibly an increase in menu items and choices. Their menu hasn't changed since they opened. Don't get me wrong, the food is excellent but they added more choices or changed their menu occasionally, we would visit more frequently.

Black Sheep is located at Durango and Warm Springs, not far from the 215W. It’s a fairly small but comfy space that permits easily heard table conversation. Parking was free and pretty easy on a Saturday night As long time Vegas residents, we are always happy to see thriving local restaurants that aren’t chains. Often, chefs who have trained under the big names will decide to try their hand at their own shop. Jaime Tran worked for Daniel Boulud (the French influence) and Charlie Palmer. Add her Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese heritage and you can understand the unusual fusion seen in her cooking. The menu is small, but changes regularly as she says she “gets tired” of doing the same things. Of course some folks may miss their favorite dishes, but we think new dishes are something to look forward to. The dishes are creative, flavorful and well presented. As with most great chefs, Jaime’s sauces, as expressed in the hamachi and short rib for example, really highlight the body of the dishes. The sauces are not heavily creamed as one finds with French cuisine, but make great use of spices as in Asian dishes. A bit of kick but not hot. Mains are not large, but neither are the prices compared to Strip joints, priced at $25-30, steaks are more. We found one appetizer and one main with a shared dessert were filling. One of the joys of a small owner, chef place is that she is always there, friendly and accessible, willing to discuss her works and history. We look forward to our next visit.
Located off Warm Springs and Durango Drive.

Be prepared to wait a bit for your food to come out of the kitchen, they do not rush the dishes.
What we ordered:
1.) Ho No Mo Mocktail $10.00 Passion Fruit, lychee and lemon. This drink was more refreshing and a bit on the tart side so if you are looking for a sweet drink, I would not suggest this.
2.) Pear and Apple Salad $15.00 the salad was great on top of greens, crispy prosciutto, but the Whipped Citrus Cheese dressing on the bottom over the Apple and pears was a bit too heavy.
3.) Beef Crisps $9.00 reminded me of pork rinds but much lighter and tastier. It comes drizzled with Chili Lime Juice. Delicious!
4.) Imperial Rolls $10.00 Lightly fried pork and shrimp rolls in light tangy sauce.
5.) Slow Braised Short Ribs $29.00 The short ribs were tender and the Kimchi fried rice was good and spicy.
Pricing was not bad.
Atmosphere was warm and slightly intimate.

We went here for date night and enjoyed it. The waitress was very attentive and the food was very flavorful. I would definitely recommend
Came from out of town and went to look for a authentic Asian place with a great vibe and a good price point and I found it… Had a tremendous meal, it’s a really cool spot and the prices were the best in the city for the quality. Service was also really fantastic
