Fun bar in the Arts District. We were visiting Fremont Street and heard there were some cool bars close by. This was definitely one of them. It has medieval vibes and a very comfy setting. The drinks were great as well. We will definitely be coming back when there is a concert or show going on.
May was awesome! Great bartender and super friendly. Bar has a great atmosphere, which a lot of bars lack. Open early and is right on Fremont. What’s not to like?

The Griffin is a unique tavern-style bar with a great vibe and entertainment, especially on Saturdays with Club Gothica's darkwave goth music. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an Old World hunting lodge, complete with comfy benches, roaring fires, stone walls, and a well-stocked bar. The bar has a hobbit’s den atmosphere that adds to its charm, and the layout with dim lighting makes it easy to meet new people. While the drinks are reasonably priced, solo visitors may experience slower service. Recently, the music volume was reduced, making conversations easier, especially for larger groups. The friendly bartenders take their time to find out what guests like, creating a welcoming environment. The bar is located near other good bars and across the street from some incredible pizza, making it a great spot to relax and socialize. On busy nights, a DJ spins in the backroom, increasing the lively atmosphere. With some improvements in service, The Griffin has the potential to be a top destination.
