Good food. Slightly expensive but it’s poolside.

Went to the Sandbar while waiting for my dinner reservation tonight. When I placed a drink order the bartender told me they do not serve mixed drinks. Behind him were several different bottles of liquor. I thanked the bartender and left. I discussed what happened with my wife, and told her the bartender did not want to serve us. Had the bartender wanted to serve us, he would have made a suggestion for another alcoholic beverage they could serve. I advised he looked at us and made a judgement that we would not tip him well, and that is why he told us they do not make mixed drinks.

After we arrived home I looked up the menu and discovered they have several mixed drinks on the menu. This clearly indicates they do serve mixed drinks.

I live here in Summerlin, and regularly have guests who visit. I frequently bring them to Red Rock. This experience makes me reconsider where I will take future guests.

Great live venue. Loud and clear sound system. A room that feels much bigger than the space it sits in. Reasonably priced bar, great pizza . A good time to be had for all. Put on your boogie shoes and find out for yourself.

Refreshing cocktails poolside in tall chairs, appetizers that present well and satisfy the taste buds. Beautiful presentations with every drink and dish. Friendly, quiet professional bartenders cater to your resort eats + drinks needs under shaded eaves while the sun shines on crystal clear resort pool water. Lovely day.

One of my favorite places in Las Vegas to relax is at the beautiful Red Rock resort pool bar, the Sand Bar, with a delicious poke bowl and my glamorous wife!?

Great pool. Greek salad was full of lettuce barely had cucumbers or tomatoes burger wasn’t so tasty flavorless.

Drinks are overpriced and service is very slow. We always rent a daybed and we’ve always had to wait for our waitress to come around.

Sandbar Grille - Better This Visit During our June visit to Red Rock Casino & Resort, for wife’s business meetings, I returned to the Sandbar Grille, by the pool complex. The area was a bit busier, than when we had been in September. I arrived, just as they were opening, and sat at the empty bar. I remembered that the wine list was short, and that the wines were served in plastic cups, as this IS the poolside bar. I went with the Chard, and sat back to just watch the pool area. Besides the bar with seating, there is another seating area, around it, and then the staff does lounger service, around the pools, so are quite busy. The bartender on this visit was much more friendly, and seemed to care about service, where before, I felt I was being completely ignored, though the pool was less busy then. This time - very good, and accommodating service, and I was not ignored for long periods of time, while the bartender and servers just stood and chatted - they were all busier on this morning. In conclusion, a very good experience, in a lovely little venue.
