Very disappointed. Started out good, we had a reservation at 8, got there at about 730 and they were able to seat us. The waiter greeted us right away but then It went downhill from there. All 3 steaks we ordered were not cooked right. 2 were supposed to be rare, were medium and the 3rd was supposed to be charred and medium plus, it was rare. A good steak house knows how to cook steaks to order. The flavor was not all that great as far as high end steak houses go it was pretty blah. The server was not very attentive after taking our order. My glass was empty for at least 10 minutes. When we asked for the check that was another 10 minutes. The atmosphere was good but not worth the price for bad food and bad service.

Seems a little redundant to say anything about this place, it's clearly well know and loved for good reason. We had a spectacular dinner there too and would highly recommend it to anyone who knows there meat .

One of my top 4 places for Bone in Ribeye. Everything was great with the exception that my Ribeye could’ve used a little more seasoning. Very eclectic spot in the heart of Circus Circus Casino and Hotel.

This definitely seems like a hidden gem. The atmosphere inside was great, and the servers were courteous and very attentive. My steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare and tasted great being cooked over charcoal. If you want a great steak at a traditional steakhouse, this seems like the place. To top it all off, they, unasked, gave a free piece of cake with a candle to my friend whom we were celebrating his birthday that night. Small things like that combined with great service and food go a long way. I'd definitely go back on my next trip to Vegas.

So the food is good but I am concerned with the fact that they are charging people for sharing entrees. Anyone who has significant other shares entrees. They want to charge 30 dollars a person for this? I had an 18 dollar salad that was the size of a 8 Oz steak actually smaller. And a 12 Oz steak. The price is more than a steak I would get gibsons in chicago. And they have large portions over 100 per serving. The steak was closer to raw after ordering well done. Our server was wonderful in fixing situation so service gets high ranking. The proportions are not matching their pricing. The food was good but it is not the best and we have had, food at the strat... now that was worth it! I don't care about the money I just expect the right proportions of food for the price. The dessert we had creme Brulee, This was more like pudding with a slight burnt sugar taste. My fiance enjoyed the food. I like a little more excitement and flavor. Was not a French brulee. But coffee was amazing. I would like to come back and try more I would like to see them make some adjustments. And this would be best place to eat.

Old school steak house all the way, styled like the venerable Musso & Franks in LA— think dark wood, red banquettes, big cocktails and aged prime steaks. Felix was an outstanding waiter, and Ron, the GM came over to say hello. Great service! If you want a classic steak experience without breaking your bank, this place is for you. Nice wine list without insane prices, a normal person can afford a good bottle which we loved. A slice of cheesecake from Juniors in Brooklyn (the real thing!) finished our meal. The other nice thing is that the steak comes with a salad and side. Pro tip #1, the baked potato comes with all the toppings, yay! Very important Pro Tip #2: Park at the pay lot in front of Circus Circus, it’s free for restaurant patrons and you can skip the scary parking garage (not dangerous, just a long walk and dirty) and walk straight in. There is no valet parking at Circus Circus.

From the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left, our service was amazing. The maître d'hotel greeted us, congratulated us on our anniversary, was personable, polite, and professional. Our table service from receiving our beverages to our meals was classy and very organized. Our waiter Richard was friendly but no overbearing. You could tell Richard knew what he was doing; he's probably been a key employee at THE Steakhouse for quite some time. The food was clean, fresh, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Most will see the prices but it's totally worth it. From the fresh hot bread, the salad, soup, crab appetizer, and our main course - lobster and a 24oz rib eye steak, we were full and had leftovers. We did order a crème brûlée dessert and Richard was too cute to add a candle to it as we celebrated our anniversary. A very awesome dinner, worth every single penny and more! We will be back soon. Thank you for great service and food!

This is the only reason to go to Circus Circus. This is one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas. The rooms decor is absolutely stunning in a retro way. I feel like I should be in the Vegas of the early 80s. The old school feel also equals old school service. Everyone was super attentive my waitstaff team was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. I love the petite filet mignon. It was cooked just how I wanted it and the garlic mashed potatoes potato's are so buttery delicious. The meal comes with a sad I chose the up-charge and got a Caesar salad with fresh anchovies. The wine list is very good with many bottles at different price points.

Old school Las Vegas steakhouse located inside the Circus Circus Casino. Keep and eye out for the entrance because blink and you will miss it. Once you enter you will be transported from the lights and pandemonium of the casino back into a vintage Las Vegas scene. The decor is like an English manor study with the forest green walls, fireplaces, and artwork. The dining rooms are dimly lit. We sat in one of the booths. To start we had wine and the complimentary bread. We both had steaks for our meal which came with salads. It is the Strip so it was pricy. However the experience is worth it.

It certainly has the old school Vegas feel as others have mentioned. We went there because some locals mentioned it was good. Firstly, circus circus is absolutely terrible. I can't believe this place is still open. Secondly, the steak tasted like ponderosa steak if anyone remembers that place. Tastes like $10 steak that I paid $90 for. It was not good at all. The French onion soup was good and so was the bread rolls. The wedge salad was good as well. The steak comes with mashed potatoes, baked potatoe, or rice pilaf. We had the baked potato which was very good. The asparagus that accompanied the steak was boiled and not very good. The steak was the worst part. I had rib eye on the bone and hubby had filet. Both were very mediocre. Service was ok, the place wasn't busy and it took 10 minutes to come to our table. The cocktails were very good. I would never come back again for two reasons. One is circus circus... gross. Two is the steak was not good at all in my honest opinion.

I loved the ambiance and the service was absolutely incredible. Wait staff was attentive, humorous and welcoming. Most of all the 12oz filet was the best steak I ever ate. Truly the highlight of my trip thank you THE Steak House.

What a little gem inside of Circus Circus! It is definitely pricey but we knew the minute we stepped in that we were in for a treat. It is old school Vegas for sure with red vinyl booths, dark green walls, and dim lighting. The food was excellent. We shared the 12 ounce filet and decided to do the "shared plate" so we could each have a potato, veggie and soup or salad. Honestly, it was so much food that we couldn't finish it all!! The filet was cooked to perfection and so flavorful! Our friends had the crab legs and shared one with us. Outstanding! The only disappointing thing was when I asked about a to-go box, I would have expected them to either take the plate away and box it up or box it up for me at the table and instead, they handed me the box and walked away. For this kind of restaurant, I just would have expected a little better level of service for this specific request but still give it 5 stars.
