I’ve been coming here for several years, the best place for tamales and the staff are always so friendly. They also cater for small events too with delivery. Prices are always very fair!!!

Nestled deep in the city is this excellent spot for tamales, chicharron and all the Mexican foods your heart desires. Their birria is so delicious. They open early too which is a big plus for me since I'm an early riser. There's nothing like picking up hot food early in the morning and washing down with some atole omg. The people there are super friendly, they knew I was a first timer and they greeted me with a cup of birria and consome. Dude come on, that was so nice of them. That consome hit the spot in the morning. Better than drinking coffee lol jk

I went for the famous fresh corn tortillas
And they are neither corn nor fresh, totally disappointed

I've gone twice and both times they didn't have or didn't want to make me a burrito. Heard they're good though.

A dozen of the best tamales in Las Vegas for $25. That's a great deal! The tamales at TSD really are the best!

Great place for breakfast burritos, I get the frijoles con chicharron. Also the tamales are my favorite chicken in green salsa and the pork.

It's called the San Diego tortilla shop, but they don't make fresh tortillas.

This review is for their tamales and champurrado. Stopped by on 10/10/21 since their reviews on google said they had the "best tamales in town" and my pregnancy cravings for tamales were all i could think about. I ordered 4 chicken tamales, 2 cheese/jalapeño and a champurrado. The cheese tamales were basically just the masa with like the tiniest amount of cheese and a slice of jalapeño. The chicken tamales were dry and needed more of the green sauce but i doubt that would have helped much since the flavor was nonexistent to begin with. They make their champurrado with water instead of milk and charge you $3. The champurrado wasn't good at all. Had to add sugar and cinnamon when i got home just so it wouldn't be a total waste. Everything ended up in the trash. So disappointed with this place. I will never come here again

Best tamales in town!! I live in southwest Las Vegas and when I was pregnant my husband would bring me here everyday(the pregnancy cravings) Honestly if you plan on getting tamales go early in the morning when they open. They get sold out quick! So delicious!!!! Definitely recommend.
