The smoothie was good, the location was clean. The purchasing experience was awkward. When you go to pay, the default on the sale charges you a large tip for simply taking an order. I tried adjusting the tip while the cashier watched on, with no success. Yup, Awkward.
Only reason I'm giving this place 4 is because of a an employee named Aileen. She was the only person up in the front, while there was a line. She was taking orders and making smoothies while I heard girls laughing and talking in the back. Thank you Aileen and I hope you're noticed for your amazing service, smoothie (cause the others are ass), and being a good employee. She deserves a raise

I love tropical smoothie and have no problem with their food or products. Usually I have a pretty average customer experience which is fine with me. however, I feel like the employees working today felt like they were being held hostage. There was less than a neutral expression, very monotone, and unpleasant. I tipped her thinking that maybe she just needed a little pick me up and she didn’t even say have a nice day or anything after asking me if I want my receipt.
