Based on the reviews, Tacos La Carreta is a late-night taco spot in Las Vegas, operating evenings only (6pm–2am) out of the parking lot at KAO Auto Styling. It is easily one of the favorite late-night taco spots, serving real street tacos with consistently excellent flavor, portions, and pricing. The meat is juicy, well-seasoned, and reliably good. Everything is very delicious, real Mexican food. The owner is from Michoacan, so everything is delicious. Recommended meals include the carne asada tacos with everything on them (cilantro, onions, grilled onions, and radishes), the tripe and tongue tacos, the enchiladas like those from Michoacan, the very tasty golden potato tacos, chicken tacos, tacos dorados, and quesadilla. The chicken tacos feature tender chicken and fresh, vibrant ingredients. Service is fast, usually about 5–10 minutes, with a steady stream of loyal regulars. Seating is simple and casual. At $2.99 per taco, the value is hard to beat. The sauces are super spicy.
