“The food is always delicious, it's our favorite taco place in LV. Our favorites are the shepherd's burrito and the asada fries. The roast is delicious, although I don't like the fact that they put beans in donkeys. The nopal taco is also very good, as is the shrimp burrito. The island of sauces is very good, my favorites are the "habanero salsa" and the "macha" spicy but delicious.I only ordered churros once and they were better than I expected. As for service, they are quite fast and friendly. The place is always quite clean, very busy and has a good atmosphere. There is only one bathroom and I have usually had to wait a long time to go in to wash my hands.“
“This was our first visit to La Paleta. We had a hard time choosing what to get, because there are so many different options. From paleta, to ice cream shakes and cones, to fruit bowls, to agua frescas......there is something for everyone. The people working were very generous and kind--we got to sample whatever we wanted! We will definitely return when we are lokking for a sweet treat!“
“The Birria con Queso tacos are FIRE! They come with a warm side of barbacoa style sauce to dip the tacos in and is a delicious pairing! The tacos are a hefty serving size too with 3 tacos in a serving. I also got a dulce de leche oat milk cold brew, as recommended by the friendly young woman behind the counter , and this did not disappoint. Quality cold brew and perfect amount of sweet but not too sweet. I got my food to go but the interior is set up as cute spot to dine in as well. Highly recommend.“
“This place is absolutely fantastic by all means. When you sit down, you get a bowl of fresh made tortilla chips and house-made salsa verde and roja. The staff is fantastic. I was visiting a friend who lives within walking distance, and it was great to have dinner in a place not full of tourists. My only complaint is that they ran out of TShirts and I couldn't buy one. This reminds me of the local places I visit at home. The food will speak for itself; they have 1000% better birria than you'll find anywhere on the strip.“
“I’ve frequented this place many times. And the food gets better and better! This time I chose the wet chimichanga with chorizo and asada, with both sauces.Aside from the great food, I must mention that the last three trips I have made here, I have continued to have a negative ordering experience with Ricardo. His disposition is so unwelcoming despite trying to engage or be polite. I hope he can be coached on his customer interaction skills and customer engagement.“
“we got the chivo birria and carnitas, both were great jalisco style food. the chorizo beans were our favorite, you get some with salsa and chips which were all home made.the music was nice and added to the atmosphere.would definitely come back again:)“
“We have lived in Vegas for 4 years now and have been searching for a good Mexican Restaurant, we had not been successful until today. Their food was very good, big portions and very reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back. Strongly recommend.“
“Such a cute spot! Semi welcomed me with a big warm smile! The reviews got me here but the food and HOUSE MADE HORCHATA will keep me coming back! Their specialty is Birria as the owner is from Guadalajara. I ordered the Birria Quesadilla and I am such a happy camper!****De-li-clous!!!****A must try!!“
“Best restaurant for the value in the area the portions are huge the services impeccable. This is by far. The best restaurant I have ever been to for Latin food so many options and a very happy atmosphere. You can tell the workers are happy to work and the people seem very happy to dine there it literally feels like a party that decor and the vibe is one of the kind.“
“The Margerita samplers were great to get started with. Queso Fundido with warm tortillas and the toasty nachos only made the meal even more interesting. Striking interior decor, with lots of greenery and curious, fun items for sale in a corner. Must visit!“
“Sayulitas is delicious. I've tried a couple of burritos so I am going to review based on that. Had the super burrito ? it was delicious and loved it. Had the hot cheeto burrito not my favorite because it's just meat with hot cheetos. It was good but won't get again. They have a huge menu so I need to try more items. The sitting area is very limited also since the spot is tiny.“
“Genuinely the best Mexican food in town hands down. I’m from San Diego so I’m picky with my Mexican food but tonight I got the shrimp Aztec fries and it was PERFECT. I typically go to taco man for Mexican food but this spot is miles better in my opinion.“
“OOH-RAH! I heard about this place from a fellow Marine of mine back here in Michigan. So, I made it a mission to visit while in town and I absolutely love this place......for obvious reasons. Now, it doesn't matter if you served or not, you have to go just for the simple fact of history. Just going in you get a sense of getting some knowledge as you walk through and see the history on the walls. Love the tributes and love my beloved Corps. Will be back when in town and please make sure you get some chow while you are here. YUT! Oh....and yes that is a gas mask hanging in the bathroom stall.....LOL....Love It“
“Didn't know what to expect, I was worried because the Mexican food around the area is not the best, but turn's out there is a little Gem hidden in this small but unexpectedly clean and inviting restaurant.I'm really picky when it comes to tacos and I gotta say without holding back it deserves to be recognized as the best taco place in all Las Vegas. I'm definitely coming back for more. Muy buen trabajo mis compatriotas Mexicanos!“
“Seldom would I ever give a restaurant 5 stars across the board but wow.... just ate at the bar and the service was still amazing, the recommendations were all amazing dishes and I have zero complaints about anything. Well done, keep it up“
“Food and drinks absolutely amazing!!!! You can definitely tell that love, sweat and tears are put into every plate. Hands down the best around in the area. Service was top notch. We felt like we were in a true cocina de tia or abuela. We felt like family and we ate like family.“
“I highly recommend checking out this spot! Quesabirria is my favorite go-to and this place did not disappoint. The filling was generous, they were crispy, and the consume was delicious. I can typically eat 3 and still be hungry, but with these I was full after just 2! Everything was flavorful and hand down the best that I have ever tried. The staff was incredible and the artwork on the walls was a unique touch.“
“Taco Tuesday is my favorite day at Tacotarian. Some of the classic tacos are only $1.99 although all the tacos are already so cheap any day of the week. I always get the mushroom asada, plantain con mole, and dorado which fills me up perfectly. Their green mild sauce is super tasty too.“
“This place is great! From the very moment you come in you are greeted and seated quickly! The staff is so helpful and polite ! My family and I enjoyed the service , and the food was excellent very flavor . We will definitely be coming back !Vegetarian options: There is a section of the menu with great vegetarian options!! Guacamole vegetarian and vegan approved !!Kid-friendliness: The kid menu is good simple things for kids and plastic cups with tops perfect for kids and they are accommodating to children who might need booster seats and high chairs“
“Wooow woow, the food is incredibly delicious, the service incredible, we sat at the bar and wooow the staff was very good, excellent service, Anthony was able to explain very well the dishes I chose to eat, I expected them to be small plates but they were really very good generous in portion“
“This is my FAVORITE taco shop !!! Their food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! my favorite things are there El pastor tacos and quesadillas and their shrimp tacos !!!! They have handmade tortillas that give your food a great authentic taste !! And I'm in love with then .. I come here nearly everyday for my lunch cuz I work close by .. the people that work there are the most nicest ppl too and will always take care of you and serve you with a smile , my orders are always spot on ! .. anytime my friends and family want some quick Mexican food I ALWAY tell them to go here ... And anytime my patients at work ask about this place and if it's any good I ALWAYS tell them YES !! ITS THE BEST !!“
“Yummy tacos, kinda pricey now, but this is good if you wanna eat a tasty al pastor or suadero taco or some asada fries ?Parking: Lots of parking can get cramped during peak hours, but nothing crazy.Wheelchair accessibility: They got wide double doors and ramps ?“
“The food gets 5 stars because it tastes amazing, but the wait time is just way too long. It is drive thru only and they had 1 person running back & forth between the car & the food truck taking orders then delivering them 1 by 1. It would be more efficient if ppl were allowed to walk up to place an order like normal food trucks. There were about 7 cars in front of us and it took 30 mins.“
“My head coach let us know about this restaurant it was an amazing experience the drinks were made to perfection and tasted great. The food was fresh and my tacos came out perfect our waiter was polite and assisted us on anything the entire team needed . I have told multiple people about this place and will be going back . Thank you guys for great food, hospitality and service .(p.s. everyone ordered different food so I couldn't name them all)“
“Letty's de Leticia's Cocina offers an intimate dining experience nestled in the bustling Arts District of Las Vegas. Despite its small size, the restaurant exudes authenticity, serving up genuine Mexican cuisine that's been sorely missed in the city. Our waitress, Michelle, added to the enjoyment with her infectious energy and attentive service, despite the busy atmosphere. The flavors of the dishes were undeniably authentic, hitting all the right notes and leaving us craving more. While the venue was bustling, it only added to the charm of the place. Letty's de Leticia's Cocina truly is a hidden gem in the heart of Vegas. Although we left satisfied, the only reason it falls short of a perfect score is that we found ourselves still craving more of their delicious food. Nevertheless, we'll definitely be returning soon to indulge in another round of culinary delights. If you're in the area, don't miss the chance to discover this Mexican culinary treasure near the Arts District.“
“Decided to try a new breakfast spot, my first impression is that the place was full and a bit small. The food portions were big, tasty and the cafe de olla was delicious! Prices were reasonable for sure. The customer service was 10/10 Beatriz our server was very sweet, friendly, best of all very efficient! Will definitely return!“
“I’m not a vegan but this meal was great! I’ll be back again. We ordered the birria ramen, mushroom taco and kids nugget and fries. Everything tasted amazing! We’ll be back again and bringing friends. I highly recommend if you’re a vegan or not.Kid-friendliness: They offered kid options.“
“What an experience! Amazing birria... Best of Vegas! When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and instantly felt like family. We had the plate of goat cooked to tender perfection that fell right off the bone as we dug in. Refried beans are next level with birria juice that adds the perfect richness and flavor. The fresh made tortillas and consume were like a big hug. Love this spot and can't wait to return!“
“Parking: If you're in search of a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Serrano's Mexican Food. As a family-owned establishment, it radiates warmth and familiarity, making it our go-to spot for weekend dining. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with genuine family vibes that set the tone for a memorable meal. One of the standout features of Serrano's is its impeccable service. From friendly greetings to attentive care throughout the meal, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure every customer feels valued and well taken care of. It's evident that they take pride in what they do, and their dedication to providing top-notch service shines through.Of course, no dining experience is complete without great food, and Serrano's certainly delivers on that front. Each dish is crafted with care, bursting with flavor and made from quality ingredients. As someone who's quite picky about where to dine, I can attest that the food here consistently exceeds expectations. One pleasant surprise about Serrano's is its affordability. Despite the exceptional quality of both food and service, the prices remain reasonable, making it accessible to families on any budget. It's refreshing to find a place where you can enjoy a fantastic meal without worrying about breaking the bank.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. Whether you're craving delicious food, outstanding service, or simply a welcoming atmosphere, this place has it all. It's become our regular haunt, and for good reason. Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!“
“I've been craving some good nachos. They are my guilty pleasure. Found this place to watch the Nuggets. Ordered a couple of types of nachos and was blown away. Best nachos I have had so far. My son says that this is going to be a regular Vegas stop. I'm going to try every type of nacho on the menu.Ok, update. I have gone back this time and ordered the filet mignon nachos. Definitely try this place if you like nachos.“
“My boyfriend and I went here randomly not expecting much but wanting to try the local places, and wow!!!! Completely authentic homemade Mexican food made with love and integrity. I'm vegetarian and just got a plain cheese quesadilla with a flour tortilla (all the tortillas were housemade) and since that's all I got, the very kind owner brought me out a gordita with crema and jalapeños for free! It's not on the menu but he said that's what he made some other vegetarians that came in before, it was amazing! The wonderful owner is kind and generous and deserves a lot of support.“
“We were celebrating my 21st birthday in Vegas and I had heard of this adorable little spot, and had to check it out. It did not disappoint!! Our server was so incredibly sweet and our drinks and food were amazing!! A small, adorable little place for those who appreciate tequila and a not-too crazy environment:)“
“I love Mexican Food and now I have a new favorite. Your greeted at the door with a friendly face. They get you seated in a timely manner. They start you off with delicious chips and salsa like the other restaurants, but the salsa was real good. Not too hot, not watered thin. The dinner was a good portion of food and delicious. The restaurant itself was designed to have that authentic Mexican feeling. The grand staircase is a must see. You won't be disappointed in your visit.“
“Had an amazing dinner tonight. THE BEST Barbacoa I’ve ever had in my life.Food quality 5starsService 5starsLive music 5starsI highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good food. If you’ve never had Barbacoa before, make sure you try your first here, because then you’ll be ruined for Barbacoa anywhere else it’s that good!Rosie was our waitress and she was absolutely a delight!Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere was very kid friendly/family friendly. They even played music for my kids to dance. I will also be coming back on a date in the evening with my spouse. Great people, great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. This all equals a great time for me.“
“Food options were great need to come back to try out the sushi spot here. Service was great. The ambiance was inviting really family friendly and a lot of tables to sit from. I can see why this place is very popular. Will have to come back soon!“
“Tacos Del Julio UNLV is a short drive off the strip near UNLV - Maybe a 10 minute drive from Las Vegas Blvd. Regardless of where you are coming from I can 100% guarantee that you will not be disappointed. These tacos are delicious, yummy, tasty, fresh, and hot. The place is modern and clean! I tried a taco de lengua and a carne asada burrito. Wow! Que rico estaba la lengua esa! They Burrito was also very good. They have a nice Michelada / Beer Bar which is plan to try when I return. They take pride in their product and service. I need to confirm but apparently they are from Monterrey, MX and also have a taco place in Paris, France - WHAT??? Go ahead and give Tacos Del Julio a try and I'm sure you will become a repeat customer.“
“Stepping into this lively Mexican steakhouse, the air crackled with sizzling fajitas and the aroma of chiles. The tequila selection lining the backlit bar was impressive, boasting rare añejos and tequilas aged to perfection. Our server, navigated us through the extensive list, expertly pairing a smoky mezcal with my fiery Arrachera steak. The steak itself was a masterpiece. Cooked over an open flame, it arrived crusted with a deep char, sliced thin to reveal a juicy pink center. Each bite was a symphony of smoky char and rich beef flavor, expertly complemented by the tequila's subtle smokiness. Even mild-mannered dishes like the guacamole packed a surprising punch. For those who crave a truly inferno-level experience, the chilli margarita was a fiery delight (and potential regret). While the spice may have had me reaching for my cerveza, it did not overshadow the quality of the food. The meals were fresh and warm, the portions generous, and the atmosphere electric. Border Grill is a must-try for any adventurous eater seeking a perfect combination of sizzling steak, expertly paired tequilas, and an unforgettable fiery fiesta.“
“I just had a birthday brunch this past weekend here. I have done MANY brunches around Vegas, & typically party vibe brunches lack in food quality… HOWEVER Mona Rosa DID NOT DISAPPOINT! So let me give the rundown:Service: from the minute we walked in, the hostess was so nice & accommodating, she easily granted us a grace period because we were a little behind schedule, combined two reservations to put us all together, no problem. Our waiter was full of life, always accessible, ensured the food came out hot & kept the drinks flowing!Food: From the decor to the food, this restaurant instantly took me back to Mexico City, upscale creative plates at reasonable prices. I ordered the Pozole, which TYPICALLY I would never order at a restaurant but SO GLAD I DID! It was seriously one of the best I’ve had! Drinks were creative and tasty, only recommendation on the cinnamon cocktail, tone down the cinnamon flavor, it was overpowering.Would have gave 5 stars all the way around if the DJ played some other genres of music other than the techno umpts umpts. I also didn’t ask for a song so I can’t mark them down for it.All in all— I WILL BE BACK!“
“If you seen my hundreds of birria reviews you know I've had birria everywhere. This place was clean, reasonably priced, and the service was top notch!! This was our first time here. I had the birria (of course) and my husband and son both has carne asada burritos. The birria was amazing!! Flavorful and the meat was tender. The tortillas were clearly homemade and fresh. I would recommend trying this place out if you like authentic Mexican food.“
“It was a mom and pop shop and the food was really good. The Elotes corn was good. The Birria pizza was good. I was hoping for a thicker crust. The vegetable burrito is outstanding. I will go back for the vegetable burrito for sure. It was nice to taste charcoaled grilled chicken. I would just recommend the chicken be marinated prior to grilling. Again, food was delicious. I gave the atmosphere one star because it's not the best looking place... but who cares I rather have a place with good food and not so great looking than a nice looking place with bad food. Again, the food was good.“
“Been in Vegas for a few days now and was craving some Mexican food so we decided to try out this Mexican cantina near our hotel. The restaurant was located in Boca Park and it had a lovely outdoor area decorated with string lights and candles. Our waiter, David was knowledgeable about the margaritas and the history of the restaurant. We decided to ordered some margaritas, and some l ceviche as the starter. For the main course, a combination plate and chorizo and potato enchiladas. The original margarita and raspbertia were both excellent and you can choose between tajin, salt, or sugar for the rim. The ceviche wasn’t too shabby and went well with the tortilla chips (which the waiter gave us a complimentary refill), however, it was just missing some spice. For the combination plate, we chose the chicken tacos, carnitas tacos, and beef taquitos which was good but some guacamole would have completed the dish. As for the chorizo and potato enchiladas, the three sauces on top were delicious, especially the tomatillo sauce since it had the most flavor. But, the enchiladas were lacking in chorizo, it was more of a potato enchilada with a hint of chorizo. Overall, our experience was pleasant, maybe it’s because I’m used to California’s Mexican food but the dishes just need more spice and flavor.“
“Skip the strip and go here! . The food is excellent! The atmosphere is really cool. Never been before, went based on Google’s suggesting of “ food near me” recommendation. They have everything from tacos to burritos and more. I tried the 3 street Taco meal based on the Bar tender recommendation. The Barbacoa taco is my favorite and the best I have ever had to date! The chips and salsa are fresh and authentic style and slamming good! The service was excellent, but BE PATIENT! They get incredibly busy after 6pm and if you can’t get a seat, try sitting at the bar. If that’s full, just wait till you can get in. The parking lot gets full but keep looking, you’ll find a spot. I suggest you get there before 6pm to get a good seat and order before the rush. They run happy hours on street tacos and depending on the day, certain alcoholic drinks: Margarita, beer etc. It may be slow service but I can guarantee you one thing, it’s not because the staff is lazy, they are constantly on the move! It’s because it gets very busy ….as in, large parties coming in at the busiest time of day type busy. The bar tender is attentive and very good at his job in serving. The Dude didn’t skip a beat and was constantly on the go. Very nice guy. The staff is wonderful too, and although it may take some time to get your food depending on the time you are there, it is still worth waiting vs, driving the strip, paying an additional $30 for parking to hurry up and wait 30-60 min longer to get into a largely advertised popular restaurant at any of the major casinos and hotels on the strip.“
“Wow, don’t use that word too often for reviews, but they check all the boxes! Great and fast service, delicious food with lots of great options, and decent pricing as well! The nachos, enchiladas and carnitas tacos are all really good. The original margarita is also good. We’ll be back soon to try chilaquiles !Kid-friendliness: Good meal options for kids“
“I've always wanted to try this restaurant every time I pass by on Oso Blanca Road, or if I happen to be in the same plaza this restaurant is in. Needless to say, my interest was increasing during the last several months until recently, I finally got to try this restaurant for the first time. My family and I ate here on 29 Mar 2024 and I'd say overall, I "liked" this restaurant. When we walked in, we were greeted very nicely by the two employees located at the front of the restaurant. The lady taking our order was super nice and patient considering this was our first time at this place and I needed a few minutes to decide what to order (it didn't help that I was starving and wanted to order everything on the menu). We ordered the Quesabirria Street Tacos, Carne Asada Burrito, Regular Birria Street Tacos, Carne Asada Nachos, Chicken Street Taco, and Agua Fresca. The food was made to order and everything tasted fresh. I noticed one of the food preparers was a Dallas Cowboys fan, and although I'm not a fan of that team, I was extremely amazed at how quick he and the folks were at preparing our food - it was appreciated considering my hunger status. Aside from wanting to try this place for the last several months, one of my main reasons to visit this place was due to the Birria Tacos. I have never tried those and have been wanting to try it for quite some time. I've done searches within a 15-mile radius from my house and this was one of many that popped up. I was slightly disappointed that the Birria Tacos weren't the crispy shell I was anticipating and even though the consomé was delicious (yes, I even drank from the bowl), I felt that the onion chunks were excessive...considering that the tacos already had a tremendous amount of onions itself. Don't get me wrong, I'm normally the, "You can never have enough garlic and onions," type-of-guy, but in this case, it was a little too much. The Chicken Street Taco was decent, nothing to write home to Mom and Dad about. Also, the Carne Asada Burrito was delicious and massive (I think I'm gaining 3 pounds right now just talking about it); and the Agua Fresca was refreshing! The décor was decent but slightly on the plain side. The price-to-quantity/quality was reasonable and adequate. I highly respect this business for supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces (including Veterans of course) - I appreciate this a lot. All-in-all, I can definitely see myself coming back to try other items on the menu. I wanted to try the carnitas but unfortunately, I can only consume a set amount of food in one sitting. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.“
“A nice sized restaurant with about 10 tables with some Hispanic music in the background. The staff were all very nice and attentive We really enjoyed our food: The árabe taco was unique and flavorful and came with a sweet chipotle sauce that was delicious. They use a flour tortilla vs a corn one. The carne asada taco had great flavor and they did not skimp on the meat. Meat was not dry but had that nice grilled flavor The lengua was tender but needed a little salt The Al pastor was delicious in the taco and vampiro - we enjoyed the flavor and liked that small pieces of pineapple were mixed in. The salsas had good flavor with a little kick. Solid place to grab some fast Mexican food as we enjoyed everything“
“Excellent street tacos and more. The carne asada and lengua are the best, in my opinion. Great fresh food and a great price. If you’re dining in, the restaurant’s atmosphere is nice. Great natural light and very clean.Staff is very nice.“
“It's in a nice location and you can dine there as well! I grabbed take out! These chilaquiles are really delicious! I called ahead and they asked if I wanted them spicy which I liked! They also have them in green sauce! I got mine red and medium spicy! When I bit into it I loved that the egg yolk specifically looked nice and orange! I hate egg yolks that look a pale yellow! The sauce was so flavorful and they had black beans mixed in which was new to me but I enjoyed it! Also I think it was cheddar cheese but I also liked that they mixed it in with the tortilla! As for the service, I won't fully know until I dine in, but they seemed nice! I recommend trying them for sure!!“
“First of all mad props to Rachel our server who just started on SUNDAY this woman was super kind, friendly and attentive yall give her a raise all ready I have trained many in customer service she is awesome. I am from NC never met her till tonight we had a lot of good food I will post pics my top faves Daddys Margarita hubby got the Pineapple and mint he loved it, The Mexican Street Corn OMG amazing 10 out of 10. Hubby got the lobster and crab nachos while I love both it didn't work for me but he loved it. I got the Baja Shrimp Burrito freaking amazing hubby loved it too. Overall quick service, friendly and clean. Wish we had one in Wilmington NC.Adios Vegas it's been a great week!“
“This place has cheapest mexican food in all of Vegas and it’s delicious! The street tacos are only $1.65 and are some of the best I’ve had! I come here almost everyday for breakfast and get a whole breakfast combo meal with eggs, 3 pieces of sausage, bacon, and potato’s for just $8. It’s supposed to come with pancakes but I just sub potato’s for the pancakes usually lol. This place is a hidden gem ?“
“I brought our out of town guests to this restaurant that was recommended. It had also excellent reviews so I was looking forward to it. I have to say I was a little disappointed because my expectations were set too high. In my opinion the food was just OK nothing to rave about. We ordered Carnitas plate, the Kiko plate which was recommended by the server and the queso fundido (great presentation). My favorite was the agua Fresca de pepino and the tortillas. The atmosphere is definitely very nice. I enjoyed the DJ playing music in the background, but not blasting it so we could still hold a conversation over dinner. We will definitely be back to try a torta and the chilaquiles.“
