“Ive only ever been bold enough to try the very hot flavor, which is honestly great and pretty hot! Ive only ever had daves 10 pc and the hot mozz, which will typically have me feeling like I got punched in the stomach 8-16 hours after eating. I go there about once or twice a month.
Daves is a really good quality chicken fast food place, but the price is way high. I typically spend $30 on Daves, between chicken mozzarella and a drink (just the 10pc
Meal is $10.50ish). The fact they ask you to tip in fast food restaurants these days is in my opinion one of the most insulting things in fast food dining these days and looses them (and any fast food with tip option) respect in my eyes. The people who made the check out machines and programmed all of them with tip options deserve a locked spot in hell. Good chicken, over priced, laughable at the idea of a tip.“

Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. The apple slaw was crisp and refreshing…. Having said that $25 for 6 tenders (I ate two before taking the pic), a small cup of slaw and fountain drink is just grossly overpriced!! There’s nothing on their website to suggest organic or free range which would have explained the higher cost. For $25 I can eat lunch at most casual restaurants with equal quality, better variety, sometimes larger portions and not have to get my own food & drinks“

Workers were cleaning the tables and dining area as others finished. Only thing, the bathrooms are locked and code is needed. Drinks were also out this day but lemonade 🍋 was good.“

“A pretty decent place overall. The grilled chicken was quite tasty, and the restaurant felt clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience more pleasant. Nothing too fancy, but a good spot for a family meal.“

Chicken was seasoned perfectly, it seemed similar at first to Dave’s hot chicken, (which intimidated me a bit cause DAVE DOES NOT PLAY WITH THE HEAT LEVEL. And everything is wayyy too spicy!!! Anyhow, they have different levels of heat and I chose mild to play it safe and it was perfect!! Exactly what I expected.

I never had such a juicy, tender, and seasoned chicken- everything was well balanced. And you know how so many food chains serve the rubbery fake chicken?? NOT HERE!!! You could tell it was REAL & made with love & time!!! And that’s SO RARE to find nowadays. Even the fries- PERFECTLY SEASONED (not overly seasoned like Dave’s bot chicken).

Mac and cheese was also easily the best Mac and cheese I’ve had from a fast food ish type of establishment. You know it’s good when it’s gooey and has a cheese pull. And I loved the portions!! Fairly large.

Anyways, your only regret will be NOT coming here. I will be coming here often and telling all my friends and my chicken sandwich obsession.“

“At Tacos El Pastor, what you see is what you get. Both Tacos El Pastor and Tacos El Gordo are located on the strip in the same corner/strip mall. Both locations are super busy and usually full. As soon as you walk in, you’ll see lines and signs wth the type of meat that is served in that land.“

“We went to Cane’s today and just had the BEST experience. At the drive thru, I asked the girl taking orders if there was onion powder on their chicken or in their sauces. My daughter is highly allergic to onions, including onion powder, and I didn’t want to risk a trip to the ER. The girl went and got the manager who asked us about the allergies and then she assured us that everything they sold was onion free. We ordered and drove around to pay, and the manager met us at the cash register, and gave us a Cane’s card. It’s so scary having a child with a life threatening allergy, and to have your manager take it so seriously literally brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much! You will see us again soon!“

“My husband and I came here due to a conference in Vegas. The food was amazing! The macaroni and cheese was the best! The chicken was crispy! The string beans though a bit spicy were super flavorful. “My daughter and I live walking distance from Raising Cane’s. We don’t understand why so many people like their dry, unseasoned and overpriced chicken. We normally drive 15 minutes to Dave’s Hot Chicken as the chicken there is juicy and well seasoned. They even have a non spicy version for there. We heard that Angry Chickz is even better than Dave’s so we decided to check it out, especially since Angry Chickz is privately owned and we try to support privately owned businesses as much as possible.

Coming to Angry Chickz was worth the 25 minute drive! Mary greeted us and helped us with our order. My daughter ordered the mild slider and I got medium. We shared an order of fries. We got the no spice “country” for the sake of comparison. Everything was delicious! The chicken was juicy and had a lot of flavor, even the country! My daughter took a bite of my slider and she preferred the medium. I will try the hot slider next time, just in case, but I have a feeling the medium would be the sweet spot for me.“

“Stopped by this Chick-fil-A for lunch and ordered enough food to make the tray question our choices—in the best possible way. The grilled chicken club was fresh, neatly assembled, and loaded with crisp lettuce and a thick tomato slice on a nicely toasted multigrain bun. The chicken was tender, juicy, and had just enough grilled flavor without being dry.

The waffle fries were hot, golden, and plentiful. A few escaped from the carton, but I consider that a generous bonus rather than a packaging failure. The regular chicken sandwich was wrapped carefully, the barbecue items were organized, and the order labels made it easy to figure out which sandwich belonged to whom without conducting a full lunch-table investigation.

They also provided ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise, so nobody had to negotiate condiment custody. The drink was cold, the dining area looked clean, and the small flowers on the table were a cheerful touch. Even the cow display near the counter was working hard, reminding everyone to “git chikin on ur fone.” Excellent spelling? No. Effective marketing? Absolutely.

The entrance was clean and easy to find, the restaurant appeared well maintained, and the entire order was prepared accurately and packaged with care. Friendly atmosphere, dependable food, and enough waffle fries to briefly achieve inner peace. I would gladly return. Oh yes and you can get drink refills just ask for them.“
