The food was mediocre, the flavors were not there. It was very basic for the chicken and the barría. The Esquite was good. The service was horrible! We sat for 15 minutes (had a reservation) before anyone came to take our drink/food order. Never seen anyone after we received our food and had to find someone to ask for our check.
I will say, the waiter who serviced our water was great. My water glass remained full through out our stay.
This place was amazing! Loved the food and service was top tier! Jeremy was amazing so attentive and had great recommendations. He made us feel so welcomed! I plan to go anytime I visit Vegas!
Great food, service was top notch
I loved the food and atmosphere. Nadia our waitress was so great and informative.
My friends and I came to Viva for the first time during the drag brunch they had here! Our server Anthony and our busser Ethereal were a dream! They had drinks ready by the time we were done with our current drinks and made sure our table was not in need of anything at all times. Thank you for the great time!!
Came to Viva for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised! While the happy hour menu had a small selection, every item we tried was absolutely delicious! We ordered one of everything just to sample it all, and the flavors did not disappoint.
The service was outstanding from start to finish! Friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We just missed their drag brunch, but it looked like such a fun time. Definitely planning to come back again!
This restaurant is conveniently located in Resorts World.
Great atmosphere and decor. Food was amazing and the portions were perfect.
¡VIVA! offers a beautifully vibrant atmosphere that immediately draws you in lush greenery, warm lighting, and bold design elements create a modern Mexican oasis right on the Vegas Strip. The staff is attentive, friendly, and clearly well-trained, making you feel welcomed the moment you sit down. It’s the kind of place you want to like even before the menu hits the table.
Unfortunately, the food doesn’t quite live up to the setting. While the presentation is lovely, the flavors are hit or miss. Some dishes, like the fresh guacamole and shrimp tacos, land well but others feel uninspired or overly safe for a place that claims bold, regional Mexican flair. It’s not a bad meal by any means just not one that lingers in your memory once you leave. Go for the vibes and the drinks, but temper your culinary expectations.
The horchata absolutely sucks. I'm not sure how you can mess up one of the simplest drinks to make, but they managed it; it had a grainy consistency that was made up of coconut shavings which took up roughly 1/4 of the total cup on their own. The huevos con chorizo tasted worse than microwaved leftovers that have been left to sit until they were cold. The tortillas that came with my meal were also incredibly dry, not sure how that happened since they were stored correctly. The waitress was nice and accommodating, and was sadly the only good part of the visit. However, she did take roughly 20 minutes to bring us our check after we asked for it, which was a little weird because our table was one of 2 tables being occupied. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody that I like.

Nice location, good decorations, service average, food very small portions, over cooked and a little burnt. After a full course meal still felt hungry.

Our first visit to Viva exceeded expectations!
Anytime I travel, I always spend some time online to make sure I'm going to places that are unique, exciting and memorable. The stories about Chef Garcia that I found along with many great reviews made Viva an easy choice for our first meal of the trip.
Here's what we expected:
- A fun, lively atmosphere in a cool location with nicely prepared Mexican & Latin American dishes by a renowned chef.
We definitely got that - but here's what exceeded our expectations:
- An incredibly warm & welcoming General Manager that recognized our enthusiasm and made some spot-on food recommendations. Katie really made the entire experience spectacular!!
- Beautifully prepared dishes that are far beyond "ordinary" Mexican and flavors that made us fully appreciate everything we tried.
- A nicely curated cocktail list with great options for everyone at our table.
- Attentive, friendly service from everyone that we interacted with.
- An overall impression that made this one of the places that we will recommend to everyone who is planning a visit to Las Vegas.
The entire staff did a great job and made us feel welcomed. The kitchen staff delivered perfectly on Chef Garcia's creations.
The ancho rubbed lamb ribs were definitely the highlight of the night! The guacamole was absolutely delicious. And, even though I was absolutely positive that I wasn't going to try dessert, I'm so glad that we all tried the churros. The consensus from the entire table is that they're the best we've ever had and we will judge all churros against these for the rest of our lives.
