I was suppose to stay here in the ‘Ivory Suite’ in their Ivory Tower back in March 2020 while returning to Maine from Hawaii, but Las Vegas shut unexpectedly down due to Covid hysteria. I recently returned to Vegas and decided to stay here three nights and try out the Ivory Suite again. When we arrived, there was nobody behind the front desk and a line of people waiting to check-in at 9pm on a Wednesday evening. After 15-20 minutes somebody finally came out just as folks were becoming inpatient in line wondering where the staff was? After a long flight from Maine we just wanted to get in the room and relax. Overall, the casino and hotel are very nice, modern and stylish. Located only about 1 mile west of the south end of the strip. It’s walkable for those in reasonable physical condition. Although I might not make the walk late at night as the street is kind of dark and desolate. And it doesn’t take long for Las Vegas to get seedy fast once you go off the strip in either direction. Loved the Free parking and they even have free valet. Free parking is almost a thing of the past in Vegas these days, along with buffets, which are also rapidly disappearing. There is a resort fee, also a relatively recent years thing in Vegas, but it’s a bit less here than the $45-50 you’ll pay anywhere on the strip itself. But what can you do? That’s the norm these days in Vegas. If you can’t afford it then stay at Motel 6. Wonderful pool area, although not enough chairs. Almost everything had to be reserved and there were minimal pool chairs left you could lounge in. Especially close to the pool. Their buffet is still open, but it was scaled back from the last time we ate here in 2018 when it was the newest buffet in town. I’m pretty sure the mashed potatoes had gone to instant! And there were less offerings this time. Still a pretty decent midrange buffet for about $44 a head. Just expect up to an hour wait in line during peak periods. As far as the room was concerned, it was a little disappointing. While very large at 1000 square feet, and very clean, it really was missing something. Felt sparsely decorated or a little too bare bones for a four star hotel and so much space. Not much furniture aside from the couch. Mini fridge wasn’t stocked and it was Inop, so no way to keep beverages and food cold. Had to throw out half my dinner leftovers because there was no way to keep it refrigerated. No real glasses for cocktails or anything. I don’t even think there was any plastic cups if I remember correctly? Just the ice bucket. No shower robes or slippers. Not even a coffeemaker. Or even a pad of paper and pen. No USB plug-ins for your gadgets. Safe didn’t work, either. The master bathroom sink was clogged and took about 1.5 hours to drain when full. The toilet in the secondary bathroom was also clogged and overflowed the first night we flushed it as soon as we checked-in and used it. Yuck! We cleaned up the mess ourselves! Bed was o.k., but not divine comfort. The bedroom Television was connected to a power pack by an extension cord coming out from under the bed. Feather pillows made my girlfriend sneeze with allergy. Myself, I liked them. No extra pillows or blankets in the closet. Master bathroom very large with walk-in shower, but was showing some wear and tear and slight aging. Bathroom vent fan also Inop. And like all hotels these days post COVID, there’s no daily housekeeping. Got to request sheets and change them yourself if only there for a short stay a few days. I was really excited to try this room, but it was a bit of a letdown. For the money we paid, there were better options nearby. Perhaps I might try the Fantasy tower next time, but not sure I’d stay again? But I reiterate, the public area of the hotel and casino were all very nice and polished. No complaints there. Just a little disappointment with the suite itself . However, if you really want to throw down some money, they do have some amazing penthouse suites that will blow your mind if you want to spend multiple thousands of dollars per night. As much as $10, 000. Just a bi
Dennise the slot Attendant is by far the best person inside a casino I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with, she is the example of over the top customer service. She's literally why I come to this place , all my friends and I LOVE HER!!
The beds were all horrible. When we got there the first thing out of their mouth was we are overbooked and I said this was reserved back in February 2023 so there were plenty of rooms back then. The King size mattress sunk to the floor with me just laying my knee on it and I weighed 165 pounds. We complained and the following night we got a different room with 2 queens sized bed I was pissed imagine being married for 33 years and this hotel separated my wife and I. I tried sleeping in same bed to no avails the mattress sunk to the floor. We didn’t want complain again because we didn’t want to keep packing up our clothes. The staff knows about this problem but the big managers just ignores them. Typical higher ups looking to get to general managers or go. So if you don’t mind sleeping basically on the floor look else where
Don't be fooled by "remodeled", the property is old and tired. Table games are very limited to non-existent and the focus is almost 100% on slots. Definitely overpriced and dumpy, much beter options out there for sure.
Best birthday celebration with family and friends!!! Our host Juan Morales is the absolute best. Always treats my family and friends extremely well. The entire staff including Ray, Kim, VIP front desk, and restaurant help have been amazing. We will definitely be back.
Alexis is a phenomenal VIP host! She treated us with respect and made our check in process seamless. Hotel is awesome! Rooms are nice and clean. Conference rooms are exceptional. Will definitely will be coming back for business or with the family.
Beautifully renovated rooms. Beautiful casino with no smell of smoke . Good table rules for blackjack. Good selection of restaurants Generous comps. Is our first day here and we would strongly consider returning
Stayed in Fantasy Tower king rooms last year and decided to upgrade to two Ivory Tower Suites this year. Ivory Tower Suite – One Star The rooms have not been recently updated evidenced by the non-digital thermostat. The rooms are decorated in garish colors of red and white. The rooms are the size of a suite but have the amenities of a below standard Holiday-Inn Express. The rooms have no clocks. The open closet is in the bathroom with three small shelves; that is the room’s only storage. There is no dresser. There is a phone jack and electric outlet where there was a dresser at one time. There are no end tables with storage, just a shelf. Obviously, the regular occupants of this suite did not have luggage nor could be trusted with movable amenities. The single sink bathroom has an open shower design, giving your clothing a steam treatment whether they needed it or not. The shower caddy/shelf in one of the showers had broken off and had not been replaced. The full-length mirror in the other shower was propped up against the wall where it had broken off the wall. I felt the need to use a hand towel when using the shower to avoid contact with the shower floor. We “downgraded” to Fantasy Tower kings after one night. Fantasy Tower King – Five Star This room is equivalent to a standard room at Wynn/Encore. Decorated in lovely earth tones with updated amenities: digital thermostat, lighted closet, automatic closing drawers in the dresser, large television, makeup mirror, and a beautiful, closed shower with bench seating and separate water closet. I would highly recommend the Fantasy Tower king and avoid the Ivory Tower rooms.
This was mine and my nephews 3 rd visit to the palms from the uk this year . This place should be renamed the friendly casino .The staff welcomed us back like old friends many remembering our names from our previous visits , we felt like family. The choice of food is amazing at this resort from fast food to top quality fine dining , this time we were lucky enough to eat in the superb Scotch 80 restaurant (simply the best meal I’ve ever had , and I’m 57 ) Our room was very big and spotlessly clean. With a fantastic view. I feel i must single out a few members of staff for personal praise . First of all a cocktail waitress called Grace , such a happy friendly young lady , she remembered the drinks we liked from our previous visits , and nothing was too much trouble, and always had time fir a chat , a credit to the palms . Secondly a pit boss called Rob , a true gentleman and very very helpfull . On one occasion I left my cash out ticket in a slot machine , Rob sorted this for me in super quick time Thank you Rob. And last but certainly not least Gina our customer host . Wow what a lady , catered for our every need . WELL DONE THE PALMS SIMPLY SUPERB! See you again soon we cant wait . Harvey Instance and Thomas Eley from the uk

The room was clean and very spacious. The location was great, minutes away from Las Vegas Blvd. The mini bar prices were reasonable ? the mini bar person (Ramon) was very helpful and extremely nice. The cleaning lady was great, she was very nice and did an amazing job. She make us feel very special! Thank you. Definitely coming back, Frank.
