Great food, great prices, proper authentic Thai food offering local friendly prices. The only let down, NO AC just an Air Cooler, this was just uncomfortable. Make this a go to restaurant to visit.

Had to update my review. I STILL haven't had better Thai food in all the years in Vegas, and I left my original review 4 years ago. I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants here, but this is still by far the BEST. Can't wait to have some more.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is authentic and VERY tasty. It’s not fancy but doesn’t need to be. Lunch specials are plentiful and inexpensive.

Best Thai food in town, incredibly value packed lunch specials and everything is delicious
Had the pad thai lunch special. Came with a house soup with good sized cucumber chunks and onion. Came with a side salad. Four spice level options.
Can't believe we've lived by this gem for years and never stopped. Excellent food, engaging and genuine owners, all around fantastic experience. Can't wait to get back.

Try something new they said, it'll be great they said..... It wasn't. First time trying this place, and got the crab curry for $25, and I'm now sitting in the bathroom at work puking it into the toilet. Thanks for the food poisoning. I will not be returning. This experience was definitely not worth the price.

Took home food after seeing the restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Everything was delicious, a bit spicy even at the mildest heat.

I’ve been to What’s Zaap a few times—it’s a solid, standard Thai spot. Nothing standout, but definitely not bad either. The service is always friendly, which I appreciate. I’d skip the Tom Kha Gai though—it’s overly sweet and not well balanced. Also, it would be nice if they used traditional Thai soup spoons instead of the American-style ones. Overall, decent place for a casual Thai meal.

We stopped by Whats Zaap Thai and were absolutely impressed! The vibe is casual yet welcoming, and the food? Incredible.
We tried a variety of dishes:
A fresh papaya salad served in a traditional wooden mortar--super crunchy, tangy, and perfectly spiced. The sticky rice and grilled veggies on the side made it a complete and satisfying starter.
A rich, savory curry (I believe Massaman or Panang) topped with crispy onion curls--packed with tender meat and fresh veggies. The depth of flavor was fantastic, and the portion generous.
A vibrant seafood noodle dish loaded with shrimp, squid, and colorful veggies--beautifully plated and bursting with authentic Thai flavors.
Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and you could really tell the care that went into each dish. Service was friendly and quick, and the space itself felt cozy without being cramped.
If you're craving real Thai food with bold flavors in Vegas, Whats Zaap Thai is absolutely worth a visit! Will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Great authentic Thai food I ordered the spicy basil Thai rice. I ordered spice level 1 and it was just right spice. Vegetables was fresh and crisp the rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you're in Vegas must try place to eat.

I visited Whats Zaap at around 1 pm on a Wednesday. We did 2 lunch specials for 2 people. It is 14$ each, and the portion is very perfect for 1 person. You may leave just a bit hungry, but you can order more food for a very good price. This Thai place has lots of options, and all of them actually have a pretty good price, and you really can't go wrong.
With the portioned entree, there is a side of fried wonton wrappers, a spring roll, a soup, (the special that day was seaweed soup), and a small salad. Some also come with rice. We got the Basil Meat and Veggies and the Panang Curry. Spice levels go 1-4 and i wouldn't recommend going over 2 if you don't want to cry. The basil meat was nice and tender with beef and peppers. The curry was thick and creamy with coconut milk and red curry paste. We enjoyed the nice service and the restaurant itself is quite small but nice.
Most likely, we would come back to this nice Thai spot and try something again.
