Fun place to have a business drink.

I gotta say this is the only real bar around. Real drinks at a real price. So many places in Vegas are just fake and over priced but I feel this place thrives because of the quality people that are serving. Total 5 star !!!!!! Check this out people when people say Las Vegas isn't like it used to be then you should go to the whiskey down and ask for an old fashioned and enjoy what Vegas is.

After being in Las Vegas for work I was looking forward to visiting Whiskey Down for an Old Fashioned. I figured a classy looking whiskey bar would fit the bill perfectly. I was greeted quickly and I asked for a smoked old fashioned. The presentation was pretty good complete with a big clear ice cube, orange peel and a bar cherry, my cocktail smoked in front of me. I took my first sip and realized that the bar tender had no idea how to make the most classic of bourbon cocktails. This was a glass of bourbon, bitters and water. I was charged $26 for this cocktail plus tip. This is super expensive for a cocktail, let alone a cocktail made incorrectly. If your looking for a cocktail walk past this place!

Just returned from Vegas earlier this month. I stayed at a different property and still came into Whiskey Down every night. The vibe is always festive and the live music soothes the soul. Absolutely nobody on the strip can run a bar this busy like Victor. No waiting no frustration just good times. Victor is the reason I come to Whiskey Down. Always fun watching him create drinks people have never experienced. I paid over $100 in cab fare just to come to this place because I love the vibe!

Crown and henny drink was poppin, but so were the waitresses' tots. Messed up our drink order, but the place was cool.

Laid back, comfy bar inside MGM casino. Good whiskey, limited cigar selection ( but cigar smoking is allowed). Catch a game in style.

Walked from the luxor just to get there and leave. Garbage service and over priced whiskey. And too top it off the guy behind the bar speaks no english. Could not understand him

Asked for an Eagle Rare old fashion and it was horrible, took 20 min to get service then got ignored. They didn’t do anything to remedy the drink. They made it with soda water…. I will not be back.

Great atmosphere.

Despite multiple servers on shift not one came to our table EVER. Went to bar to order a whiskey flight and bartenders knew jack shit about the flight. The whiskey and cigars were really good tho.

A whisky bar with a classic feel and an excellent selection of liquors and cocktails. You can get a good cigar too, but selection is limited. We liked that it didn’t seem too smoky and was clean and comfortable.

This was the worst cocktail I've had at a bar on the strip. The place has a nice vibe, but the cocktail was messily made, out of balance, and the pour was only 0.75 for the main shot. For a $21 cocktail you expect that to be a top notch cocktail, not one that is weak and tastes poor. The cocktails in the airport lounge were much, much better.

I walked in feeling happy and in a good mood. After trying to order a drink from a bartender named Karina, my mood quickly changed to frustrated and disappointed. I greeted her and she said something snarky to which I took as a joke and laughed. Apparently, she wasn't joking. After I order a drink from her she started slamming different things around such as throwing empty bottles in the collection bin with extra force to intentionally break them. After her aggressive episode she just stood there behind the bar not doing anything. She never communicated that she didn't want to make the drink I ordered. I didnt take it personally because her problems are her own, but I just wrote this review to warn other people about her. She wears dark framed eye glasses and looks to be about late thirties. Stay away from her if you don't want to deal with a bad attitude for no reason. The other bartenders seemed like decent people. However, I can't expect much from this establishment if they are willing to keep people like Karina employed.
