Winchell’s Donuts connected to Subway next to the hospital seriously hit the spot. 🍩🔥 I stopped in around 3 PM and was impressed that the donuts still tasted fresh.
The apple fritter was the star—crispy, caramelized edges, soft and fluffy inside, with sweet apple flavor in every bite. It had that perfect sticky glaze on top that makes it nearly impossible to stop eating once you start. 🤤

The best and freshest and largest donuts in town. No greasy after taste. My favorites are the chocolate bar, glazed and yellow cake with strawberry or orange icing.
Not the best donut place in town, but its a reliable one. If you're looking to grab a dozen donuts for the office or jobsite this is a perfectly acceptable stop. They aren't bad by any means but they aren't reinventing the donut.
