Zen Japanese Curry House Express delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. The curry was full-flavored and we’re talking truly authentic Japanese — rich, deep, and bursting with umami. You can dial up the heat to a perfect “10” if that’s your thing, but even the standard level was spot-on.
Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste that commitment in every bite. The staff were knowledgeable, guiding us through spice levels and menu picks—super helpful without being pushy. The atmosphere was casual and upbeat, with a friendly vibe that felt genuine.
If Japanese curry is your jam, this place nails it. No frills, just excellent curry, solid service, and a clean, welcoming space. Highly recommended.

I write this review with absolute sadness. I’ve been coming to curry zen since 2018. Each location has been amazing with amazing staff too. This location however shocked me to my core. First of all, the young lady at the counter was super sweet but just monotone which was not my problem. Secondly, my friend ordered her food first and I got my food before her, no big deal. But then we see other tables are getting their food before her. The young lady comes back and said her order got “lost” and took her order again. So we’re like uh ok. Fast forward and a group who ordered AFTER the lady took her SECOND order, they STILL got their food before us. Then another table, then another. Finally, it had been 45 MINUTES and my friend still didn’t have her food. My food was cold at this point because I’m not about to eat and be rude when my friend doesn’t have her order. So my friend goes up to the counter very nicely and asks what’s going on. The young lady says it’s coming out shortly. We wait another 10 min and it finally comes. Chicken katsu curry level 3… bro that’s such a basic order why did it take almost an hour. By the time the food came out, all FIVE group of people that came after us (yes I counted) had already finished their food and LEFT. It was just us. So disappointed. That is not the experience I wanted my friend to have after I’ve been raving about this place for years. You guys need to do better. There was nothing “express” about this place. (We came on Thursday 7/10/2025) P.S — how does someone’s order get “lost”?? Also my friend even ordered take out after the fact to bring to her boyfriend after all that and all they could offer her for waiting almost an hour was: 10% off. Bro what… no way dude. Wow.

They have a Vegetarian curry (has diary but not fat) and the steam tofu was delicious.

Absolutely love this local family business! The food is always delicious and the environment there is super cute. I highly recommend the chicken katsu or the pork katsu.

Zen Curry is the place to go for curry in Las Vegas. The only thing to take note of is the spice meter. For mild spice enthusiasts, one and two may be right for you. Anything above a three may be a bit too spicy. Make sure to get your Curry with a chicken katsu.

Zen curry is a classic go to spot for me. If you're looking to try Japanese curry in LV, GO HERE!! It's so good and the staff is always super nice. I've met the owners a few times and they're great people. Always support your local family owned businesses! My favorite order is the chicken katsu curry, but they have so many options that you'll find exactly what you want! The place is cozy and cute, good vibes all around.

My favorite curry spot in town! It’s a chill place, great for a quick and tasty meal. The curry is the best I've ever had in Vegas, the place is clean, and the staff is super friendly.

Curry sauce was delicious, but the chicken katsu itself lack flavor and was also dry.. definitely not worth $17

Ordered some food and the portion was super small for the price. Not worth it at all. Did taste good though so just disappointed in price.

Not the best, but not the worst, but it always hits the spot. This place reminds me of Coco ichiban Curry house Hawaii. I usually get the chicken katsu no spice.
I'm stuffed
