Not the best, but not the worst, but it always hits the spot. This place reminds me of Coco ichiban Curry house Hawaii. I usually get the chicken katsu no spice.

I'm stuffed

This is the QSR (quick serve) version of its sister property in China town. Food quality is just as good at the other site. Prices are good, I find the push for tipping to be odd being quick serve, but if you want some good curry dishes in a hurry it's a great spot to go.

Very over priced! You may find the same good food for much less in Spring Mountain area.

Such a fantastic meal every time. Been going here for years. No complaints about the food at all. Not a bad weight time, inside is very sanitary, and food is fairly priced. The unfortunate part was how unprofessional the employees in the photo were. Sitting and talking loud enough about their breakup to where we could hardly focus on our conversation. Cursing while we have our young boy with us. Just very unprofessional for a business. Yes I understand this is a public place but why would a business want to conduct themselves in this manner? I just think the employees need to be trained on professionalism when costumers around.

I recently tried out Zen Curry House Express and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! Let me start by stating that the staff members are very nice. Super helpful and friendly. They even took the time to explain the new menu items and the heat levels of their curry, which I heard can be very hot. I opted for level 3, which was very mild but still had a nice kick to it. The Chicken Katsu with steamed rice was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, the rice was cooked just right, and the curry was so flavorful that I could have easily drank it from a faucet. The only downside was that the drinks were canned soda with no refills, but they did offer complimentary water from a water station, which was a nice touch. Overall, my first experience at Zen Curry House Express was a great one and I will definitely be back for more. If you're looking for a casual spot with delicious curry dishes, this is the place to go.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had kaarage curry with spice level 7. I really enjoy spicy food and this had a small heat to it. Probably I will do 9 next time.I just moved to the states and the curry was really good. I also had Thai chai tea which was really delicious. They also have other menu and I plan to eat yakisoba next time.Owner was amazing. He came out and greeted us and we enjoyed his company.

The absolute best curry! ? The tofu curry was so crispy. The karaage chicken curry was so delicious, crunchy and flavorful! You get to choose your spice level. I get a level 4 and my daughter gets a level 8.

Been going to Zen for years... they've never let me down. Food and service always great. Everything is cooked to order, savory and filling! A couple times I've visited with friends and family but could not get a seat till a bit later because their seating area is small. It will definitely be worth waiting for when you're in hungry for good curry!

The curry here is delicious! After having curry in Japan, it's hard to find any place to serve Japanese curry outside of Japan or California. It makes me think of the curry I had in Japan, so they did a very good job recreating the taste. If they had some pickled ginger similar to how Coco's Ichibanya then it would be over the top!

Been here a ton of times, every single time has been awesome, this is my favorite food place to go to !A couple things i can mention... out of all the times I've gone, only once did it not meet my expectations where the rice happened to be moist and too fluffy but even then i ate it. I didn't want to make it a big deal though cuz it's not, it happens~Also btw I went to the zen curry that opened up "zen curry west" cuz it was closer to me and hahaha the food there was a joke compared to this zen curry house express and the portion was ehh to the price ratio. The interior was nice at the west location but the atmosphere was boring, the service was forced, annoying, and way too professional, also the taste of the curry was not good there lol!! So uh yeah. This location is absolutely awesome though. I figured I'd leave a review finally.Just being real~ you're welcome.Edit: rice was moist for a second time recently, wish that would be fixed, changing my review from 5 to 4 for now
