Well, my wife and I finally got a chance to stop in and try this place out. I see what all the fuss was about. The place is nice and the food wasn't bad. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and by the time we left the place had a long line of people waiting. We ordered French toast and they were different, but good. Not the kind of French Toast I am used to. My wife had her plate with Portuguese sausage and I had the corn beef hash and they were both very good. We ordered...

I had to try it, I had the waffle, egg and corned beef hash and it was good. The waffle was very light and fluffy. The hash was tasty. I can see why people love it. The pink lemonade was bland. I wouldn't say I would go back but I liked my time there. It was nice to be in a restaurant without televisions everywhere.

Zippys is a comfort restaurant for those from Hawaii. You automatically feel at home when you walk in.

We walked in at about 9 in the morning, and it wasn't busy. It took a bit to be greeted, but in all fairness, the waitresses were actively working. Got seated, and our waitress came over within a couple of minutes enough time for us to look over the menu.
