Tonight we had fried fish, coleslaw with fries. Optional of baked fish fillets with the same.
On Thanksgiving we were treated with some home town classics.
My Father Stan Hopkins was a member. He died 1-31-2024. he was 91 years old, from a sudden heart attack. He served in the Army Armour division as a marksman and trainer.
He enlisted during the Korean Conflict and served from 1952 to 1954 from a Private to a Corporal.
He was in the reserves and rose from Corporal to LTC and retired in 1986.
He was a marksman and on the sixth army rifle team. He won many medals. 9
