Riverside Buffet offers a wide variety of fresh and delicious food, with a huge selection to choose from, catering to all needs. The restaurant has a lovely view of the river and mountains, providing an amazing panoramic backdrop for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring plates are cleared and replaced with fresh options. Guests can enjoy real home-cooked food, with choices ranging from Mexican to Chinese, as well as old-time favorites like stuffed cabbage rolls, sliced cold cuts, and cheese for sandwiches. The buffet features a dessert bar with delicious ice cream, and sugar-free pies are available for those with dietary restrictions. Riverside Buffet is the only buffet in Laughlin that offers brunch seven days a week from 8 am to 2 pm and dinner five nights a week, closed on Sundays and Mondays. With a huge parking lot and a spacious dining area, Riverside Buffet is a great choice for a meal out. The food was described as typical, with biscuits and gravy and the Denver omelette being enjoyed by some guests. The view remains a highlight, adding to the overall experience. Most guests find the food good and the service very friendly and helpful, with servers like Kelly K and Marlene or Mary K making the atmosphere fun and welcoming. The bottomless mimosas and attentive service are often praised, especially for special occasions like birthdays. However, some guests feel that the food service area could use modernization to enhance the overall experience, as it currently feels a bit out of place compared to the more upscale dining atmosphere. Prices can be steep, and some visitors find it a bit expensive for Laughlin, especially considering the cost for dinner on Sundays. Overall, the selection is good, the food is tasty, and the service is excellent, making it a place worth visiting again, especially for special occasions or when craving a variety of home-cooked style dishes.
