Loved my first dining experience yesterday. Restaurant is very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and professional. The food was amazing and our waiter was excellent! The prices are competitive…fine dining without the breaking the bank.

It was late when we arrived at the restaurant but was still full of customers. Our friends like their food, I ordered a stir fry, which was a big mistake (or should I not order a kind of Asian dish? But then it was on the menu so it should be good?!) 🤔 anyway, it was horrible, it was soupy, salty and gave me a heart burn! Highly likely not going back.

Our experience was almost comical. After a horrible interaction with the rude hostess we were told to go sit at the bar. The bartender (young man) was busy so of course he was rude. He finally took our breakfast order and we thought all might be well. He brings. my coffee in a styrofoam cup (I didn’t know you could put hot liquid in a styrofoam cup) says we’re out of mugs. Then he brings our food and gives us plastic silver wear to eat our food with. My husband and I thought we were being pranked. The people sitting next to us (regulars) ordered after us and they were given silverware. What a tacky place. Oh and the food was awful!! We were in town to look at Mesquite Sun City. Very turned off. Low class out in the middle of the desert. Keep on driving!

The bar and restaurant are nice, good view of the mountains to the east. Menu is about average for all typical golf course dining. Very poor selection of beers. The service is excruciatingly slow. I mean like an ice burg slow. Chinese water torture slow.

Highly recommend. Nice place, nice staff. We ordered fried greenbeans. OMG, AWESOME! Had Oriental Chicken salad, very good. My friends had the Dbl Bogey and Ham and cheese. They said very tasty.

Excellent blackened shrimp salad. The dressing was very spicy though. I liked it but used it sparingly. My hubby had a clubhouse sandwich and cole slaw. It was very good also. Service was good. Food was very good.
1880 Grill may lose regular customers over a failure to be considerate. How many times have you gone there hoping for a nice evening meal by the green only to find out they have a special event which is not on their calendar? Twice in the last week, I've been over there to be met by someone saying they are not open. Today the sign on the door simply said private event at 10:00 a.m. with no ending time and it was after 5:00 p.m. Happened at the Warden once to be be fair. Locals are the bread and butter of local businesses and need to be treated better. It takes no time nearly to put something on your business event calendar or website home to let people know to save a drive. On both occasions 2 couples were turned away as well. If they can't make time for me, why should I make time for them? Next time I'll try somewhere else first. If you go call ahead...

Great food, I just had a patty melt but it blew my socks off. They offer cooked to order, which mean you can get your burger or patty cooked med-rare, medium, medium-well, etc. They have tots, as in tater-tots, this was way cool! Cool place, friendly service, good food. Other people in our party had a chef salad (Half-size but HUGE), burgers and breakfast. This place is doing things right!
