“My mom and I have frequented Mesquite many times over the past 15 years and have always stayed at the Casablanca and were appalled with ourselves that we'd never dined at Katherines. On our latest trip this past weekend, we decided to treat ourselves and booked a reservation for Saturday. What a VIBE. We walked in, announced we had a reservation, and the hostess got us seated immediately. (We walked past the bar to get to our table and I was sorely tempted to ask for seats there, because it was beautiful.) Once seated, we were served water right away and received bread service. Our waiter, Ruben, stopped by shortly after, and was absolutely outstanding during the entire dinner service. He took our drink order and returned with the drinks quickly, took our food order, and if I had to guess, we had food in front of us in less than 15 minutes. Mom and I shared an 8 oz filet - her half was cooked to a perfect medium rare and my half was cooked to a perfect rare. We also shared mushrooms, french fries, and she ordered a baked potato. The food was remarkable and we were very full by the end of the meal. We declined dessert and asked for our check, and we were done with dinner and in and out in less than an hour. The whole experience was outstanding and during our travels to Mesquite next time, we plan to dine there again. 10000/10 would recommend. (And don't be hard-pressed about the dress code; mom and I dressed up, and several others were dressed well too, but there were a lot of individuals in shorts and tennis shoes - men and women alike - and it was no issue.)”

“We did dine in and the food was amazing we tried 2 of the sushi rolls I forget one name but one was the princess roll which is wrapped in cucumber and this was so so so very good. We ordered the Orange chicken, Pumpkin Curry w/ Shrimp, Basil chicken and the Phad Thai. we love spicy so not only did they listen when we told them we wanted the hottest version but they also brought us additional spices to adjust to our preference. The waiter was so helpful and attentive and the seating hostess was kind also. The atmosphere was lovely and while the restaurant was slow as far as patronage the Food was 1000%. This was our first visit but we will definitely be coming back! Thank you Rain Thai!!”

“Great food and service. We went to the early bird special from 4 - 5 pm. Ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, broccoli, bread, salad, dessert, and a drink of choice. All for $45.”

“This should be a destination spot for all Mesquite residents. Smoothies, ice cream, acai bowls and boba tea. Had a sundae and a banana split. Two words, " flipping awesome"!!! Staff friendly and extremely affordable. $12 bucks!! Sundae had two huge scoops, banana split 3 scoops plus all the fixings. Great place, great ice-cream. I will be back absolutely!!”

“I’ve been coming here for about four years. I’m basing this review on the last four years that I’ve been coming, but wanted to provide a warning for what I think was an isolated event. I’ve ordered Menudo twice from them the first time without any problems. I’ve just gotten over being extremely sick with diarrhea after eating the Menudo.I’ve never gotten sick with any of their other food, but wanted to post this in case others had the same problem. If not, that’s great. I like the restaurant and I would like to keep going there. I just won’t get the Menudo. i’m really mad because I had a lot of leftovers and put it in the refrigerator for later. I checked with Google AI and it said pathogens can survive boiling so I’ve gotta throw it all the way and I’m really po’d.”

“Unexpectedly Wonderful Lunch at The Terrace at Wolf Creek

Stopped in for lunch at The Terrace at Wolf Creek and was pleasantly surprised by how great everything was! The setting overlooks the beautiful golf course — peaceful, open, and the perfect spot to relax midday.

I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and a buffalo chicken salad, both fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The portions were generous without feeling heavy. My handcrafted margarita was the perfect touch — balanced, crisp, and clearly made with care.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt far above what you’d expect for a golf course restaurant. Highly recommend stopping here, even if you’re not golfing — it’s a hidden gem in Mesquite!”

“Four! This place sits on one of the ultimate golf courses, challenging in the country in my opinion. Oscar, My server / bartender was super attentive and very friendly. I had the chicken fried steak which was so tender and delicious could cut it with a fork gravy was excellent! I had a Long Island iced tea, a favorite, and he made it purely top shelf style and it tasted every bit the same. He later suggested the carrot cake, I went for it and I was not disappointed at all. If you're in Mesquite or passing through this place is well worth the drive up the hill, the view, and the service along with the food is outstanding!”

“This Panda Express has been our go to since moving to Mesquite in 2020, we have had nothing but amazing experiences here with the staff being so welcoming and friendly, they are ALWAYS cleaning up after the rough crowds that roll through here. They bounce back from a rush so quickly and efficiently it is by far superior to many other establishments here in Mesquite. We are so grateful to this amazing team for their smiles and their dedication to the best service ever!! This community is a difficult one with people demanding so much and expecting so much, it’s always nice to see friendly faces when we come in. Jazmin has been one of the MANY great employees that always, Always, ALWAYS goes above and beyond with service. Each and every cook has done amazing especially during the rushes, this last experience both my husband and myself wanted Super greens and they were OUT!! But we asked how long for the wait for those and they said “we will have them out right now” and no joke before we even got to the checkout, after I finally made up my mind, they were done and on our plates. Incredible. Seriously I can’t even do that that fast and make them SO GOOD!!!
