About Bombay Cafe | Indian

Bombay Cafe | Indian is a small restaurant in Mesquite that offers a variety of Indian dishes. The food is generally above average, with some standout items like the coconut chicken curry, which is highly praised for its flavor. Many find the dishes to be rich and flavorful, with options to customize spice levels. The lamb stew and Tikka masala chicken are also well-liked, and the garlic naan is often described as soft and tasty, though sometimes it can be a bit stiff or stale if ordered for take-out.

The restaurant is largely operated by one person, so wait times can be expected during peak hours. Service is quick but not particularly warm or welcoming, with some reviews noting a lack of smiles or a sense of hospitality. Despite this, staff members are friendly and polite, adding to the authenticity of the experience.

The ambiance is modest, and the restaurant is in need of a remodel, but the owner maintains a friendly attitude. Pricing is considered fair relative to portion sizes, with meals suitable for sharing among light eaters or individuals. The menu includes vegetarian and vegan options like Chana masala, which are flavorful and well-prepared.

Overall, Bombay Cafe | Indian is a good stop for Indian food in the area, especially for those looking for authentic flavors and quick service. While the food might be considered bland by some, many appreciate the effort to keep Indian cuisine available locally, making it a decent choice for a casual meal.

Everything was delicious! Highly recommend and we will go back.

My husband, cousin and I just got back from Bombay Cafe. I must say the food didn’t take long to get to the table and it was absolutely delicious. We had Butter Chicken, Vindaloo Chicken, Naan and an appetizer combo of Vegetable Rolls, Samosas and Pekora. The appetizers came with yogurt and tamarin sauce. The main dishes came with rice and a little cucumber salad. Every single thing we ate was scrumptious. Each item was definitely made to order. The owners were nice and hospitable....read full review
