Stayed at Casablanca a few times and dined at a few restaurants. I've been to Casa Cafe and it was good on my last visit despite it being so busy. The workers were great.

This time around, I visited on 1/2/25, and there was a long wait. No worries, I appreciated the honesty. However this is where it took a turn. The young man working at the front was just rude on how he spoke to me. A little sassy attitude. Like he was frustrated with being busy. I then asked if I could order to go and he said it'll be over an hour wait for take out food with a stare.

My comment is about delivery. How you speak to people. If my staff spoke like that to customers I would ensure my team is spoke to and or written up. This might not be the industry for you.
At the end, over an hour wait in line with over an hour wait for food. We decided to go elsewhere obviously as we all have choices.

On 1/5/25, I decided to come by for brunch. Our server Jeff was good. It was unfortunate that although they say we can order from the menu front/back (breakfast, lunch, dinner) the chicken wings took long. He kept apologizing. Can't complain if thr kitchen is behind however, if you know that there's a tournament happening in town and you are 100 occupied, why not prepare. More cooks, workers and purchasing to be fully stocked.

The food was good. See my photos.

With that said, I'd still return.

Casa Cafe is located inside Casa Blanca Resort and Casino. Convenient location off 15. Lots of free parking. Handicap and handicap accessible. Good air quality, neat, clean organized. The restaurant is located in the back. There is a view of the garden court and hotel rooms. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable. The wait to be seated was minimal. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. She asked if the seating was okay. Dino the server was great, attentive and personable. It took under 10 minutes for our breakfast. Dino brought out all the condiments for our egg dishes Hubby really liked the egg white veggie omelet. My two egg over medium was cooked just right. You pay at the cashier on the way out. They accept credit cards. The casheir was very friendly and informative.

All the staff we interacted with were very nice and on the ball! They were busy so there was a bit of a wait. The food was yummy and hot and good size portions. The staff was great and I will eat here again!

My wife and I went for dinner. Seated immediately with drinks 👍🏻👌That was it. The service was nonexistent. I went three times looking for server. Finally someone came. We ordered and the food showed quickly but was not edible. Bad experience.

My family and I tried this restaurant for the first time several years ago while we were passing through Mesquite. Since it was so far back, I don't recall what exactly we ordered during that visit...all I remember was that it wasn't an awful experience to which I didn't mind if we tried this restaurant again some time in the future. Well, that future finally arrived, and my wife and I tried this restaurant during brunch hours on 28 Sep 2024.

The restaurant wasn't that busy which was great because I was starving and didn't feel like waiting to get seated. The service at this restaurant was adequate; our primary server was nice and did a wonderful job - I don't recall her name (maybe Mary?) On the other hand, the folks up front could learn to be a little more friendlier when greeting customers upon entering and exiting...this includes the cashier we had on that day. None of them were disrespectful by any means...but a little smile could go a long way regardless if you feel like being at work or not.

For our food, we ordered the Egg White Veggie Omelet w/Wheat Toast, Short Stack Blueberry Pancakes, Side Order of Bacon, and Deuces Special w/Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was good, including the coffee; however, we weren't big fans of their bacon. Although it contained an adequate amount of smoke flavoring and salt, the texture was less than adequate - it felt like I was eating very tough beef jerky.

The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable - I could definitely tell I wasn't paying Las Vegas prices at this restaurant...so it was a refreshing change for us in that sense. The décor was ok - when you look around, it's evident that this restaurant is in need of some updating because it is surely dated (just like the entire CasaBlanca property). Overall, if my family and I decide to stay on this property again, then I may consider eating here another time. Otherwise, chances are I won't drive all the way here from Las Vegas just to eat at this restaurant, when I have plenty of superb brunch places close to me. On the other hand, I will recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors - it's not the best restaurant you'll try in Mesquite, but it's not terrible either - you get your money's worth here!

Parking: This business shares the same parking lot with CasaBlanca Resort-Casino-Golf-Spa.

The cafe is ok. Food is fine. I did feel unwelcome and rushed. Cashier and hostess kept looking over at me and laughing for some reason. Disrespectful. Covid went away a long time ago yet they have not updated their website… still says they are open 24 hours. Cashier was unfriendly when cashing out. Waitresses every time have been great, kind, friendly.

Great food. I've been here several times when we pass through and it's typically been good. The sevice was great this last time; in the past there were issues but hopefully that stays in the past.

To start it took over 20 minutes before anyone greeted us at the table and that’s only because I had to call one over. Then we had to have a second server come back for our drink order since the first one either forgot it or lost it.Our side salad was old and wilted, it was 1 day away from being slimy. I’ve had better salads from gas stations. Our apps came out with our main course so everything got cold before we could finish it.My prime rib which was ordered medium rare came out well done. My wife’s steak was ordered well and came out burned. Also ordered a side of bacon which we sent back due to being old and burnt. Server never came by to check on us or the food. Good luck on refills.Save your money and time and do a hard pass on this place. Hit a drive through or any of the local truck stops for better food.

We came to have a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday afternoon as our first choice was closed. We split a fried shrimp basket and slice of chocolate cake. The shrimp were a good size with a good portion, and the fries that came with it were tasty. I didn't even need ketchup. The cake, however, was out of this world. Decadent. We'll be coming back for the cake for sure!
