Need more staff for a busy Friday night. Poor worker was doing her absolute best. I watched her truly cater to a mother and daughter. Went above and beyond fixing shakes because the person didn’t know what they ordered and going into great detail about what’s in the shakes. Definitely something she shouldn’t have had to deal with having a bunch of people in line waiting. I was touched by her kindness and saddened by the lack of help and lack of appreciation from the customers.

Why bother opening if you are going to ignore people at the counter and not answer your phone?!? Awful!!!! Do not waste your time.

My daughter, son in law & myself stopped in to this Dairy Queen on July 23rd, 2023. We had pulled into Mesquite as we were having car problems & we decided to just run in & grab an ice cream while we let our car cool off. There was only one woman working & she was less than nice or friendly! She was on her phone, must have had Bluetooth headphones in (unless she was carrying on in a conversation with herself) but couldn't tell if she was talking to us or not (but since I don't know her brother & it appears that's who she was having the conversation about) my kids ordered soft pretzels & each a blizzard. They had no nacho cheese to go with the pretzels, and the pretzels weren't edible. So kids just threw them away. The woman never once got off her phone, which made it for an awkward check out cause as I was trying to pay my one card said approved then the machine instantly did a refund for less than the amount of our total I tried asking her questions & she never once acknowledged me. Then my Google pay went off & the machine charged .27 cents to the card on file in my Google pay, I finally just got out my debit card knowing it would work just fine & the transaction went thru. But a few times I looked at her & said "huh" cause I wasn't sure if she was talking to me or not! Like all around terrible experience, except the ice cream was good!

They have a sign on their drive-thru that says we are currently understaffed if you pull up to the front window your order will not be taken so I've been waiting here for 40 minutes I finally drove around and there's no one no one inside so I drove back around to the speaker and still have not been helped there have been four cars that have driven off and I will now be

I order a chili cheese hot dog the hot dog was dry and burnt sad didn’t have time to go back due to being late for work wow never again

We went to this DQ tonight and ordered a hot fudge sundae. The girl at the window took our card and was gone for like 2 minutes then handed it back and shut the window without saying anything. A couple minutes later, another girl came to the window and handed us the sundae and then grabbed a spoon, with her bare hand, and handed it to us by the part you eat off of haha. Weird interaction and we just threw it all away as soon as we left.
