Katherine's Steakhouse

The food was top notch. We had the wedge salad and lump crab for starters. I had the filet with jumbo shrimp and a sweet potato. My husband had the prime rib and asparagus with hollandaise sauce. The food was delicious. Our waiter Robert went out of his way to make it a special dinner celebration for my husband. We will definitely be back. 

As always, the food is delicious the waiters are helpful. It was very busy when we came in, but they worked their butts off to get us our orders.

Always a great experience, our food is so delicious, servers are always so kind and helpful, ambience was great for us. When my husband I go alone and even with kids it's always a great experience. We love the steaks and the desserts and salads. We love it all.

Food was fabulous, same with service. Noice, however, was much too noisy to enjoy an upscale dinner. The only thing keeping me from returning is the noise. I was not able to hear my wife across the table from me which was extremely disappointing as I had hoped for a romantic dinner. The noise spoiled that aspect of the meal.

Have been there several times over the years and the food and service are always excellent.

Casablanca has changed ownership as we found out with our visit. We live in Vegas but Katherine's used to be a place that was great for date night. Now it has turned into a sports bar with high end pricing. When we arrived for our booth we were told we reserved the lounge which we did not. We were seated on a bench type seating in a corner with a small table. There were two large TV's showing sports at the time. We ordered Oysters Rockefeller, and my wife had a wedge salad for her main course. I had lobster bisque and Salmon. The waitress brought the oysters and my wife's salad and the Bisque all at the same time. The table was not even big enough to hold all of this and we didn't want everything together. She took the salad and Bisque back and brought it later. The oysters weren't even cleaned. The rolls that were brought were like the ones you get at the grocery store in a 12 pack and not even warm. We used to get a nice bread tray. All we know is that we don't need to drive 90 miles for a sports bar and pay $150 for dinner. We have a lot better selection in Vegas. It is a shame as Katherine's was a top end restaurant in our opinion but not any longer.

Our waiter Jose was fantastic. We ordered a hot spinach salad which he cooked for us at our table, excellent service and our meal was delicious!

Overpriced steakhouse. Poor quality. I can get better steaks at Texas Roadhouse. Knives were dull. Salad was small. Will never patronize this place again.

Jesse was a great server and all the staff were very attentive. We had a cordial chat with Diego the manager and loved the whole experience.

Dinner last evening was fabulous! Our server was Carlos a 25 year Casablanca employee and his assistant Edgar were very attentive and made our dinner experience superb. Outstanding food, appetizer and dessert.

Food is always good. Katherine's is not a good value compared to other fine dining experiences like Gregory's etc that include salad and choice of potato and vegetable. The ala carte pricing system for all items decreases to value. Much prefer Gregory's atmosphere and value.

We were a party of four and everyone had something different. All the food was excellent. Service was also very good. The noise level was quite high, partly because of a loud table near us and partly because of the location of our table. Overall, a very good experience.

Another excellent evening at one of our favorite restaurants. Thanks to the incredibly knowledgeable sommelier my friend experienced two tasty new bourbons. The tomahawk steak was delicious and we loved the table side Caesar salad.
