This is the worst buffet I have ever been to. Food was overcooked, dry, and cold.

Almost everything we tried on the buffet was awful. Baked potatoes were cold, ribs were dry and tough, trout was cold and tasteless, not much options on the salad bar and some of the dressing were already gone and this was early, the sliced roast beef was so tough and then the sauerkraut with the pork was slimy and cold. All around not a good experience. Oh then getting some soft serve icecream thinking you couldn't mess that up, well it was grainy.

I had a coupon so I only paid $25 for two people and overall it wasnt bad but it wasnt good either . The food was not too good — not a lot of options, but the hamburger was actually pretty good. I ordered it medium well. The desserts were actually better than i thought. Maybe the best part of the entire buffet. I had the cheesecake, really good.

Service was great, always there when I needed a refill.

I left feeling like I probably wouldn’t come back. The food was too cold or lukewarm to enjoy (other than the hamburger and ribs). The turkey and chicken were dry and I didn't enjoy it. Glad I had the coupon and didn't pay more than $30

It’s advertised as Seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday, but seafood weren’t good. Snow crab legs were too dry. Seems like they boiled they yesterday and kept serving to customers today. There are also some shells and shrimps, but nothing great.
Beefs are okay.

Ocean buffet at St. George has way better seafood in terms of quality and versatility, and cheaper than mesa.

Stopped in for breakfast while I was in the area, despite the 3.4 rating, and was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was as good as one I have had at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Great fruit bar and a made to order omelette station. I would definitely go back.

I came here for the crab legs and steak night on Friday from 2-9 pm, $60 for two people and overall, it was pretty disappointing. The food was just okay — not a lot of options for sides or vegetables, and the quality was hit or miss.

The steak was the biggest letdown. I asked for rare, but it came out way overcooked. I tried ordering again, asking for medium, but it was so raw it was practically rare again and didn’t feel safe to eat. It seemed like they were rushing and didn’t bother with any seasoning. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind waiting a few minutes if it meant getting a properly cooked steak.

The crab legs were decent, but not enough to save the meal. The desserts, though, were great — probably the best part of the entire buffet.

Service was excellent — 5 stars there. The staff was super attentive, always making sure I had water and napkins.

Overall, I left feeling disappointed, especially considering I came for steak night. Probably wouldn’t come back just for the food.

Food was between just “ok” and “bad”. It was “Surf and turf” dinner, cost 27.99. No, I don’t recommend it! A steak was bad, too chewy and tasteless. Crab legs too salty and tasteless. Other meat was ok, just ok. Corn was overcooked. Just a few salad options ( kinda strange salad with carrot, mayo and marshmallows in seafood area which you would think it’s a bay scallop but no, it’s marshmallows). Not enough veggies ( baked potatoes, corn and green beans). Lava cake and ice cream were good.

This place has really gone downhill. Have been eating there for four years, and it has gone from really good to really bad. The only thing that are good are the deserts, and they are limited. Salad bar has limited toppings, and the main dishes are really bad. Went in Friday nite, had the lady cut me a slice off the roast, and it was awful! Dry, no flavor, and even had trouble cutting it. All white meat, and no dark meat for chicken. The only decent meat were the beef ribs. Cold shrimp were smaller than they were before, and tasted funny. And on top of all that, the price is a rip off! Had better food when the cost was I believe $19.99. Will probably never be eat there again! Wish they still had the Casa Cafe! Now that was good food, and priced right.

Out of your gourd hungry? Enticed by the sound of an all you can eat $25 steak and seafood Saturday dinner at Mesa Buffet, inside Casablanca? Well, let me save you the trip- don’t do it. Do.not.do.it. Every single piece of meat was overcooked beyond being edible. I had an unlabeled piece of meat (schnitzel maybe) that resembled jerky, and needed the assistance of mashed potatoes and gravy to make the journey to my stomach. The roast, though cooked to a good temp, was flavorless. The salad bar was suspicious. The pork tamale had decent tasting pork, but the cornmeal wrap was nearly devoid of moisture. The congregation of employees lounging and chatting near the grill area, prevented me from initially noticing that there was even the option to get a steak. Our servers hygiene was questionable. The best thing I ate from this place was the A1 steak sauce (the real stuff) and the apple pie. I had two pieces, so I felt better about my $25 spent. Oh, my husband said the ice cream was tasty.

We come here for the crab legs and they don’t have them anymore, they had steak and shrimp but only cold shrimp and breaded not a big variety for the price, also not a big variety of different foods like before, quality of food not the best anymore!

Food was excellent no matter what you choose. Plenty of options ranging from a nice salad bar with fresh veggies and fruit to hot foods including chicken to pork round to a Fajita station. We were there on a Saturday night which was "steak and shrimp." Didn't have the steak but my guest did like his cut of meat. Prepared to whatever temperature you would like which was a nice feature. Their shrimp was great. Large battered prawns with plenty of meat and less breading. Also had fresh peeled shrimp which my guests did like. My recommendations include the mesquite chicken, pork round with gravy, rosemary potatoes and the battered shrimp. Only negative comment from my table was that the carved prime rib was a little dry. Service was excellent. Our waitress was quick to clean plates but also grabbed us soft drinks and coffee when needed. Did an awesome job! Highly recommend Mesa Buffet when in Mesquite!

Parking: Nice mix of open lot spaces as well as valet service as needed.

Kid-friendliness: Many young children were at the buffet even though I didn't see too many "kid options" available. Must have been eating what the grown ups were eating

We ate there around a year ago and the seafood buffet was pretty good. Just ate there for Valentine’s Day and we both were extremely disappointed. We got there right at 4 o’clock. The deep fried cod was rubbery and soggy along with the fried catfish. The bolognese was dried up. The cucumbers in the salad bar looked like they had been frozen and then thawed… boiled corn was shriveled up. The steak was a cheaper cut but was fresh and not too bad. Clam chowder looked old but tasted ok as did the roast beef. Most of the other foods looked too old and we weren’t interested in trying them. Not sure what happened to this place. We had originally planned to go to the café, but it was closed that day. The café has always had good food with the exception of the tri-tip. Waitress was good.
