Loved it
50s style theme is very cool service and staff were great and the food portions are huge!! Come hungry!
Very nice great wait staff, excellent burger. Fun decor. Win for dinner I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger and coleslaw on the side very generous portions. The others in my party all had very generous delicious portions and everyone left with take home boxes to eat tomorrow! If you are looking for good basic American burger joint kind of food and breakfast all day long with good portions I’d say it’s a hit.
Andrea, my server was very prompt and fast to get me a full tummy. The food was good. They even have a bar and entertainment occasionally.
Good is delicious 😋
Food was bland and lacked seasoning. The only redeeming quality was the friendliness of the staff. Would not recommend.

Standard diner food. The service was slow and rather inattentive for most of our meal. Americana decor was kind of fun, but everything about the place is tired and worn. If traveling with a family, there are better options nearby.

The places are cute and old-fashioned. I had to use the bathroom, and it it had a weird smell. We had to sit ourselves, and they were short staffed and training a new staff, so they didn't get our orders right .
The food was pretty
good. I got a Turkey bacon avocado sandwich. So the portions are very large, and the fries are good. The milk shakes are good.

Not as good as our usual. Might go back on a pinch
Reading over the other reviews where people decided to take pics of their food after it was 75% or more eaten, obviously makes it look far less appealing, then they complain in their reviews. Some others seem like they have a personal agenda. We don’t live here, we stayed a couple days at the Best Western and ate at several places, including Peggy Sue’s. The atmosphere isn’t bad, it’s a decent attempt at a 50’s diner theme. Yes, none of the servers or employees on the floor were wearing any kind of 50’s uniforms or attire. But we didn’t go in for that. There was 50’s music lightly playing. We ordered a chicken wedge salad with avocado, artichoke and ranch dressing. Also a turkey, bacon avocado sandwich with side salad and ranch. The menu said choice of bread but I didn’t specify and they didn’t ask, it came on white. Also a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was pretty fresh and tasty. The wedge maybe could’ve used a little more chicken and avocado, but it is a lot of iceberg lettuce going into a wedge. Iced tea was good and the staff were attentive. The prices, maybe a little on the higher side as to other places we’ve eaten locally or regionally for overall value for the buck. But if your looking to save money or on a strict budget, don’t eat out. My meal was $14.99 and the wedge salad was $15.99. The mashers were $3.99, that might give you an idea. If we’re in Mesquite again, we’d visit Peggy Sue’s for another meal. We saw lots of cars there this am for breakfast, and this evening they were fairly full; so there doing something right.

The service was honorably the worst. One hour wait for food. Saw several guests table get up and leave.
I do not recommend this place!!!!
