As someone who very much enjoys Mexican food and has eaten at many restaurants, I have to say, this may be the best I’ve ever had. 100% would recommend. I had the street taco combination plate with shredded beef, but based on my experience, I would bet their entire menu is stellar.

A nice family run restaurant in Minden. The family are very friendly and helpful. The menu has a variety of appetizers, salads and main dishes. The Chile Verde is really quite nice here, with good portions. The pork is tender and the chile itself has a nice, warm, mildly spicy flavor. Their tamales and enchiladas are homemade, and also well-done. Prices are fair, and the atmosphere is light, clean and comfortable, with seating that isn't too crowded together. The owners take great pride in their restaurant (the husband personally cooks everything) and often check to see that patrons are happy.

Awesome food and great service every time! This little hole in the wall restaurant is the best in Gardnerville! Love the food and the people make you feel welcome. Great margaritas! The pictures show the 3 enchilada combo and the Cadillac margaritas and the main entrance area, from the middle of the restaurant.

This was unequivocally one of the most wonderful dining experiences I’ve had in ages. From the moment we sat outside on their quaint patio overlooking the mountains and valley, they brought out salsas and hot bean dip, waters and took our beer and margarita orders. My torta was perfection, and the Mexican tacos and ceviche tostadas were sublime. We got two minute checks every two minutes, our water was never empty and the chips were always hot. Then they brought out a little dessert and it was the cutest freaking touch. Absolutely adored this place. This hole in the wall filled a hole in my heart.

I came here today based on a friend's recommendation. When I walked in, I was the only person waiting in line. Soon after, a couple entered, followed by a single individual. The waitress came from the back and asked the couple behind me if they were dining in or taking their order to go. The couple responded that they were ordered to go, and the waitress handed them a menu.

Next, she asked the single person next to me whether he was dining in or taking out. He replied that he was dining in, and the waitress seated him. I patiently waited for the waitress to acknowledge me, even though I was ahead of both groups. Instead of checking on me, she ignored my presence completely. She brought the man who had just sat down a glass of water while continuing to overlook me for a third time.

At that point, I had had enough. If you want to treat your customers as invisible and make them wait to place an order, then I don’t need to dine at your restaurant. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that would be happy to treat their customers with respect.

Normally this is a great restaurant with great food options, but today it was horrible. Ordered shrimp and only came with about 5. Ordered a burrito and it was nothing but rice and beans.

Excellent food!!

We arrived for lunch with a group of about twenty people and the staff here was very welcoming and attentive. Everyone in our group was more than satisfied with the food and service. The shrimp salad I had wad the best ever, just loaded with shrimp. This is without question one of the best Mexican restaurants I have visited

I have enjoying doing business with LA Hacienda Del Sazon since 2009. I only can speak on my experiences. All have 5 stars and OUTSTANDING!!!!! . I encourage others to participate and enjoy in this wonderfully operated family business!!!!! It's local too !!! Every menu item is DELICIOUS!!!!!

their really good! But today I called to place an order and when I got it the soup wasn’t filled all the way up. I got a large and it was only filled half way!
