After moving back down to the Carson Valley, Shoe Tree is one of my favorite establishments in the area. The staff are all friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The beers are fantastic, and their brewers do some really interesting things with the craft. They brew everything from light, accessible lagers to imperial stouts and triple IPAs. For those that don't like beer, they make a selection of cocktails and have wine in the fridge. They also make slushy drinks on occasion. I've been to a lot of craft breweries in the states, but this place is still one of my favorites. Stop by for a pint, or grab a 4-pack to go.
