This little hole in the wall has terrific fried catfish. We also get the Kool-Aid pickles and banana pudding. Well they do have seats for you to eat there, this is a perfect place to get food to take home for a party.
I usually come here and get the catfish. But they were all out so I asked the lady what she recommended and she said to get the Sole. I got home and started to eat. My food and the soul was very thin. And overcooked and the fish tasted old. This was very disappointing because I normally love their food.But this was definitely a miss.Left a bad taste in my mouth... literally!
I’m from Chicago and sometimes it’s hard to find good catfish, especially catfish nuggets. It’s easy to dry out a nugget and the flavor is fresh. This place was on point, the breading was ?and the catfish was tender and meaty. The fries were also very good. If you love good seafood, this is the joint!
