Not only do we love to get food to go from here but did you know they cater too! We just threw a huge baby shower for our son & DIL and needed food for 75 people. Who doesn't love Hawaiian food? Let me tell you, it was a hit! We ordered: Teriyaki chicken Combo fried rice Combo chow mein Mac salad Chicken katsu musabi Everything was SO good! The chicken was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Both the chow mein & the fried was loaded with meat! There wasn't a single piece of the chicken, Katsu musabi, be left because it was so delicious!. I can't honestly say anything good or bad about the Mac salad because I didn't try it. It's just not my thing, but everybody else loved it especially the mother to be which is all that matters. So not only is this place our go to for delicious Hawaiian food, but in the future we will use them again for our catering needs and you should too!

Each bite is bursting with the flavors of Hawaii, transporting me to the islands with every mouthful.What truly sets Hawaiian Barbecue apart is the speed and efficiency with which they handle orders. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff assisted me promptly and completed my order in record time. Their dedication to excellent service is truly commendable.After my first visit, I can confidently say that Hawaiian Barbecue may just be my new favorite food place. With its delicious food, speedy service, and welcoming ambiance, it's a dining experience that I'll be returning to again and again. Highly recommended!

The food is totally worth it. I've come back a few times and the taste of the food and portion size is excellent and keeps me coming back. The katsu musubi is definitely one of my favorites and I'm a sucker for the katsu loco which is katsu with a fried egg. The lady at the register is rude and snaps at you when you ask for items you've paid for and haven't received. The social interaction was horrid but the food is good enough to keep me coming back.
I love their food and they prepare really fast. The service is good. English might not be the first language but they manage well. The only thing I don't like is the old hand written or faded signs hanging on the walls. It cheapens the look and is an eye sore.
Half of their plates are delicious, the other half are probably just there to fill the menu. Very small dining area, so it's best to order take out.Prices are a little on the high side for the portions they give

2 years ago, I rated this place a 5⭐️.I'm sorry to say, but tonight was a different story. Only because, coincidentally, I found out my friend ate there too tonight and ordered what I got. Around 7 pm tonight, we placed our order To-Go. My hubby ordered a burger & fries combo. It was good, and he is fine. I ordered the chicken katsu w/extra rice instead of the Mac salad. Got home about 7:30 pm, put the sauce on top, and ate half of it, I was pretty full. At 11:30 p.m., I started feeling heartburn/acid reflux. Which isn't typically me. Shortly after, I started feeling nauseated and stomach soreness. 12:30am ??. Hence, the review.
Everything about this place is awesome! I work two jobs and have 6kids and a hungry hubby at home, I get delivery to all 3 places and not only r they aleays super fast, but when u go in u can tell it's family run and they r all really sweet! Waaaaayyy better than the other 3 Hawaiian places that r near by all my family and coworkers love when I order u guys!!!!!! Great job everyone, that's why ur No.1!!!
It was nasty! They gave me old shrimp that was already fried inside my shrimp Curry that tastes like burnt black licorice .I told her how it tasted and could I trade it for something else and she told me no she would give me two musubi to replace it and I don't even eat musubi I told her no can I get a refund she told me no I have to wait until Friday when the owner comes in so I left the food and she took it to the back and I left with nothing but my recipe worst severe ever . I asked her once again can I get a refund and she said Friday. I have a video and pictures.
