I do not have complaints on the staff. The ladies are friendly and nice when entering the establishment. The food quality on the other hand can be improved. I ordered two tacos of barbacoa. The tortillas was thin and falling apart. The barbacoa lacked flavor compared to other locations I've had it from. I walked out disappointed with my meal.

This particular Cafe Rio has real servers that you can go through the line and talk to, discuss what you want and that's what I really like. The food was great. Atmosphere was good. Seating was plentiful

Lazy employees who don’t mind having you wait longer and still mess your order up. Definitely picking a different establishment since every visit remains the same with little to no improvement. What’s the point of running a store if no one can do basic customer service?
0 stars and I’d recommend you find a different place to eat.

I was really disappointed with my recent experience at Cafe Rio. As an EMT/paramedic, I’ve always appreciated businesses that recognize the hard work and sacrifices of first responders. Unfortunately, when I asked about their first responder discount, I was told it doesn’t apply to EMTs or paramedics.

It’s frustrating that police and fire are included but EMS — the people who respond to medical emergencies, save lives, and often work under the most stressful conditions — are excluded. We’re on the front lines too, and it feels disheartening to be left out of something that’s supposed to show appreciation for first responders.

I love the food at Cafe Rio, but this policy sends the wrong message. Until EMTs and paramedics are treated with the same respect as other first responders, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

I am extremely disappointed to report that this establishment does not extend its First
Responder Discount to EMTs/Paramedics, limiting it to Fire and Police personnel only.
It's unbelievable, especially considering that Firefighters are also certified as EMTs/ Paramedics. This policy overlooks the critical and life-saving contributions of all emergency medical service providers. A more inclusive approach would reflect a genuine appreciation for all first responders.

I was really disappointed with Café Rio’s so-called “first responder discount.” They only give it to police and fire, but not to EMTs/paramedics. That makes absolutely no sense. We respond to the same emergencies, work the same long hours, and put ourselves on the line just like other first responders.

To leave EMS out feels like a slap in the face. If you’re going to promote a “first responder discount,” it should include all first responders — not pick and choose who qualifies. Until Café Rio fixes this, it really shows where their appreciation stops.

Sabrina was SO helpful and kind! We are here from Texas and had so many questions while ordering and she was very patient but quick to not hold up the line.

This location is horrible... the employees are so slow!!! I placed an online order to be picked up at 7:40pm, it wasn't ready till 8:20pm, leaving me late for work! I've had problems with this store for the last couple of months... even my catering orders are late, or incorrect!!! I will drive an extra 20 minutes to go to another location!! Trash!!! I feel like the employees dont communicate or even care about their customers!!! I would not recommend this location.
