The very first time I visited Checkers was great. Then each and every time after was a joke. They advertise on the windows the different deals the offer. Yet after ordering and then going to the window to pay was unbelievable. If your order was 3.00 they asked for $15.00. I replied but the offer posted on your outside window shows $2 for $2. It took the cashier over ten minutes to figure out. I was asked to either back up or pulled to the front because having a person wait at...
There was a huge rush just as we pulled in, so we waited in the car for a bit. When it cleared, we went in and the staff was still very pleasant and helpful, didn't seem rushed or annoyed. We received everything we ordered in a timely manner and it was fresh, although the boneless wings looked nothing like the picture. But do they ever? : )
Checkers is great, especially if you're on a budget. It's not on the menu, but you can get 2 for $2 cheeseburgers, and they're not skimpy - they come loaded with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, mustard, mayo, ketchup, and of course, cheese. Their fries are seasoned and delicious, and you can't beat the delicious apple pies at 2 for $1 (McDonald's apple pies don't even come close). This is my go-to for a cheap, filling, tasty meal.
