Don Tortaco Mexican Grill #17

Out of all the Don Tortaco's I've been too here is definitely the place they make it the best. Especially the asada fries. The workers are also nice.

They almost always make my food with a good portion, they do a good job of not forgetting the additions that I order as well. Definitely a staple in the area for my family. The one critique is that they could have softer church's, ours were extremely hard.

Usually this place is really good. I chose a different location on Civic Center and Lake Mead and yucky cold undercooked and didn't eat it

My quesabirria tacos were tossed onto each other. You couldn't tell if they were tacos or a big blob of tortillas and meat. Then the tortillas were not dipped and seasoned like birriatacos, they were dry. Mind you, I expected a little more attention to details after they told us they had no consome and we waited 30 min with no other customers inside or in drive thru.

almost $16 for a plate of adobo. and it’s not even enough to fill half the portion. what kind of business is this.

Very bad service, never at the cafe and they always bring a lot and some of the cashiers are very rude! I don't fly anymore, I'd better go to Popeyes next door, it's really ugly!!! 🤬

02/25/25 07:14 p.m. Order# 103 2 Fish Burritos, 2 Beef Tacos, 1 Carne Asada Burrito with extra cheese, 1 Cheese Quesadilla. Girl who tried to take my order barely spoke a word of English. I had to repeat my order in Spanish to make sure she understood and got everything. Everything was rang up and my receipt says $45.93. After waiting over 30 minutes, she tried to tell me my order was ready but it was still missing the cheese quesadilla. After waiting almost another 10 minutes, I was finally given my order. She read off of their copy of my receipt to verify everything I ordered was in the bag. Stupid me didn't take the bag over to a table and take everything out with my daughters to verify everything was supposed to be in there. So when I got home I discovered I was given only 1 Fish Burrito. I waited for over 40 minutes just to have my order missing a $10 item, and like a complete idiot I placed $5 in the tip jar when I first gave my order. My Carne Asada burrito even had NO cheese on it at all after I paid for EXTRA cheese which is even notated on my receipt. Then when I tried calling to complain, the line was constantly busy as if they had taken the phone off of the hook to prevent people from calling in. I have had a long day and wanted to just sit and relax when I got home and eat my food while watching TV but I can't and I refuse to drive back to your restaurant because my anger and temper are so bad right now, I would probably say or do something I would later regret. I couldn't even enjoy the food I did receive but it was ice cold due to it taking over 40 minutes to make my order. I will NEVER eat any ANY of your restaurants again. With this level of incompetence, your business license should be revoked.

The website says 24 hours but it’s been 2 times where they’ve said they’re closed after 12am.

Ordered through Doordash and didn't fill the chicken burritos all the way. Lazy staff I suppose and probably can't read and follow instructions in their own language

Only at this location lake Mead and Civic center... under New Management ,well their new management is very stingy . I payed ten dollars for burrito and there's hardly anything in it it's almost all tortilla ! We've been going here for years never had a problem until the new management sign went up.
It's sad Don tortaco is a established business & a lunch truck's burrito will put this Don tortaco to shame.

I just bought me carne azada burrito to go I got home it was as skinny like a flauta I was like wow lol.
