I expected good things and the staff was really nice but I should have checked my meal before leaving. I got down the road and opened the Chips and Guacamole I had ordered to find chips and cheese with no quacamole. Not sure how that happens.Lesson learned.Check before you leave.

Not impressed. I ordered chile relleno. My favorite thing. It was delivered in burrito form. Picture on menu was normal it didn't say burrito on it. But I tried it. And like I suspected it was trash. Will never order from here again.
You need to hire more people the guy that's always there in the morning I go around 4-6 all the time and he always puts an excuse to not cook.I've heard "It's gonna take a long time for me to cook" "the grill is not ready to cook". "You can only order certain things""the grill isn't hot yet" at that point just stay home lol !!!

Any time I'm in town and have to stay at the truck stop, it's a combo number 6! Open 24/7, so I never have to worry about going to bed hungry. Always good and always filling! Definitely get your money's worth

1st time eating at Don Tortaco and I'm saddened to say it was just ok. Hubby ordered 2 chicken enchiladas without cheese with only beans, the chicken was a little bland but had good flavor the sauce was tasty. However, the only drawback was that there was a lot of onions in with the chicken (he doesn't care for onions) I had the beef crunchy taco, it was lacking in meat (very little compared to tortilla size) taste was very bland & it was very chewy. The chips with cheese & guacamole was just odd. I expected plain chips with a side of nacho cheese & a side of guacamole the reality was chips topped with guacamole & shredded cheese. The guacamole appeared to be just mashed avocado without an other ingredients. Just wasn't anything to get excited about. The salsas were just ok and sadly didn't help elevate either of my menu choices. This restaurant is inside a truck stop so there was no server only the counter person (she was polite) taking orders & kitchen crew. The food court area had plenty of seating & was clean. For a quick lunch it was just ok.
