The food is delicious and reminds me so much of true Louisiana style tamales. The indigenous people's influence can be seen and tasted in their recipes. So close to my Momo's recipe.
The only downside is the pricing. Like all restaurants, it is becoming unaffordable to go out when you want quantity. If you have the budget then this place has the quality and best tamales I've had outside of family kitchens. Worth the splurge.

This place is a gem. The food was so good that I went back the next day. My family was here from Seattle and they thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. We ordered the catfish, Mac n cheese, greens, fried chicken, beef tamales, fries, beans. And the ? pudding cake. Everything was fantastic. If I didn't live across town I would visit at least 3 times a week.
