Service was slow. The waitress was working alone during lunch. The taste is better than Dickey's bbq but not equal to Texas Roadhouse. The link and brisket were cool (not even warm). I took my food home to heat up. This is a restaurant for light bbq meal. It's not like a smoke house bbq eatery. Nice for a quick meal...definitely feels like a chain.

This establishment fails on every level—service, cleanliness, food quality, and basic professionalism. It is, without question, the worst BBQ restaurant in Nevada.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that customer service is not a priority. The staff was inattentive, unmotivated, and entirely disinterested in providing even the most basic level of hospitality. Orders were incorrect, drink refills were nonexistent, and any request for assistance was met with indifference. The waitress made no effort to correct mistakes, nor did she acknowledge the delays or inconvenience.

The lack of cleanliness was appalling. Tables were sticky, covered in remnants of old food, dried BBQ sauce, and unidentifiable grime. Every surface, from condiment bottles to salt and pepper shakers, was filthy, as though they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. This level of neglect raises serious concerns about overall sanitation and food safety practices.

The food itself was equally abysmal. The pork was dry to the point of being inedible, while the brisket was composed almost entirely of fat, with barely any actual meat. Given the lack of quality and attention to detail, it is evident that neither the kitchen nor management has any standards in place for what is being served.

Beyond the dismal dining experience, the restaurant’s treatment of military veterans was disgraceful. When asked about a military discount, the waitress refused to accept a military ID or DD214 as proof of service. Rather than making an effort to resolve the issue or consult a manager, she simply dismissed the request, demonstrating a complete lack of respect for those who have served. Whether this was due to ignorance or outright disregard, it speaks volumes about the establishment’s values—or lack thereof.

This restaurant is a failure in every sense. Poor service, unsanitary conditions, subpar food, and blatant disrespect for customers make it entirely unworthy of business. Avoid at all costs.

First I will say the catfish fingers were phenomenal! So were the muffins!!

Now on to the rest.

The table was disgustingly covered with dried food. The sides of the table where my shirt hits got stuck to dried up sauce and food. Absolutely gross and the bottles of sauce look like they’ve never been cleaned off!

The 2 meat platter came out with dried up pork covered in sauce to hide its dried pile of ick. It looked like the meat was made and left on the counter to dry out for 5 hours. The brisket pieces came out pure fat on two of the three slices.
We ordered potatoes and corn.
I don’t know but isn’t corn typically buttered? This was dry and not all of it fresh - a side of each piece was very dry.
We received beans not corn and the beans had spilled onto the catfish.

Now on to the service, my sons cup was empty almost his entire meal. We saw our waitress at the beginning when order was taken, when the food came out, and towards the end to see if we needed anything. She hid in the back kitchen the entire time.

When it came time to pay I requested to use my military discount - but because I’m traveling and left the place I was staying too quickly and without my wallet. I showed all forms of proof (digital) including a copy of the DD214 on my Google Drive, but she said that she’s never heard of “that form” before. No physical card - No discount.

I was tired, hungry, and just wanted to go to bed after a red-eye and working all day. Needless to say, I’ve only eaten there twice in 17 years of traveling here and will never go back again.

Went to dinner with my husband and daughter for dinner celebrate a special occasion. We waited for more than 10 min before we were seated and the host said to us “don’t mind the mess we’ve been busy. The place did have guests eating dinner when we were seated. We then again waited for over 10 min without asked what we want to drink or be acknowledged by an employee, we stood up and walked away. I’m sure we were not missed.
Hopefully if you dine at that location the employee are more mindful of guest. Because the other guest eating clearly seen us get up and leave.

The food was cold, in total we were 6 people and 4 of us were served the food cold, not good. February 27 2025 . In this restaurant there is no quality control, 2 years ago they served us cold food. And now the meat was burned.

Ever walk into a place and immediately sense that they will be going out of business soon? I walked in for the first time, expecting to sit at the bar and have some lunch. First thing I notice is, all the chairs in the bar are tipped up, as a sign to not sit there. No bartender present at all. This tells me they don’t even bother with using that area and likely because they aren’t busy enough. I see maybe 5 tables with people sitting. I see maybe 2 waitresses working and what I observed was that every order they brought to the tables (that I could hear) the orders were all incorrect and going right back to the kitchen for correction. Meanwhile, there is no hostess working to greet and sit new guests. I stood waiting to be seated for approximately 12 minutes before one of the two waitresses finally noticed me and then proceeded to tell me and another gentleman that was waiting almost as long as I was, they’d seat each of us in about another 5 minutes. So roughly 20 minutes just to be sat. Meanwhile it is peak lunch time. No evidence of management present or worried about customer service.

I said to heck with it and just ordered from the one and only person working the to-go station. I ended up getting my order before the other gentleman was even sat at a table. I hope the food is worth the lack of customer service.

Perhaps ol Famous Dave doesn’t need money and is okay with his restaurant running with not enough staff to accommodate a slow out turn of lunch goers. It’s clear that there is no care at all at this place.

Can’t expect to gain more business by ruining every new customer’s experience.

Got the ribs & wings lunch special. The price was fair, food was plentiful but the ribs were a bit tough for me. I wasn't a fan of the BBQ sauce either. But to be fair, the other customers seemed to really enjoy their meals & I have and friends that love it as well.

Parking: Plenty of parking with lots of disabled spots.

Small portions. Chicken strips were bland. Chopped pork was dried out and burnt. Not worth the price. First and last time customer.

We keep trying to give them a chance but the BBQ is dry or burnt every time now. It seems like they do this on the to-go orders. This food costs too much for most of it to be inedible. From reading other reviews it seems to be a cook problem burning and overcooking food

This used to be our "go to" for our family. Yesterday, we arrived a little earlier than our adult kids. The place was almost empty but we waited at the podium to be seated. The hostess/waitress came up to us, asked how many and then walked away again. Came back a few minutes later to seat us. The table was dirty and sticky, and the menus were covered in food and spilled drinks, dried up. When we asked for a different table, she moved us to another booth that was still wet from wiping it down. Asked what we wanted to drink, finally, and when I went to give her my order, said immediately "I'll be right back." and walked away. We got up to leave by then, and just walked out. I can't even imagine what the back of the house looked like if the front of the house was that dirty and gross.
