Hungry Howie's Pizza

Placed my order for future pickup, and of course it wasn't ready?!?

I had an online order and ordered a Pepsi. When I picked it up they did not give me my Pepsi. I realized it was missing when I was already home so I called for a refund. They said for future reference to get the Pepsi myself. I will not be returning in the future when I can go to Pizza Hut and get everything in my order the first time! Very inconvenient service for an online order. The staff is too busy talking instead of taking care of their customers.

Ordered Howie Roll and the site says it’s supposed to have 30 pepperoni in it and when you open it up there’s like maybe 10 slices. The employee told me that the owner instructed them to put a “certain” amount of pepppeproni which is less to save money obviously. They’re cheating us and saying they out 30 in there and it’s a lie. The fact he didn’t even realize he told the owner is cheating customers where he can. Misadvertising is NOT cool. I didn’t order this to just order bread and cheese.

I'd give this place a 3.5/5, honestly.

The food is consistently tasty and just generally well-made. Not overcooked, not undercooked. It's great. I just think service is 50/50. You'll either get someone that's really kind, borderline talkative, or someone that clearly does not want to work here longer than they want to. No hate, I get it. I just know some entitled dude isn't going to.

Disappointed this time... we love Howie's and are always satisfied with our orders, but this time we were disappointed.. we ordered the Asian Chicken cause it sounded tasty, but it was SO SPICY it ruined being able to eat it... you guys should lable somewhere on the ingredients that it is spicy cause it doesn't say anywhere.

Great service, and good pizza and cheese bread.

Yesterday I ordered pizza after a very long week! I usually order pizza from there and it was okay. But yesterday my pizza was Amazing. It tasted so oooooo good. I love being able to take a pizza that originated in my home state Michigan!

We can’t get enough of Hungry Howies! The deep dish pizza is our favorite and the cinnamon bread is delicious.
This is our go to place when we want pizza and is better than any other place. Don’t hesitate to order. The amazing staff, fast preparation and consistently good food can’t be beat!
Keep it up, HH! We are customers for life!

I love Hungry Howies. Never been to other locations but I work nearby and decided to try it in 2017. Definitely no regrets. Aside from the great choices of favored crust and their cheese and fresh toppings, the customer service is great! This location has kept most of their staff since I’ve started working in that area and they’re always so friendly. Nothing like seeing a friendly familiar face during your occasional pizza craving for years. When I finally met the owner I soon realized why this location tends to keep their staff mostly long term. With the exception of COVID times of course. Every business was struggling to keep, staff and obtain dependable employees.
Not to mention how this location supports local organizations and/or school events. Yes, I occasionally chat with the employees while waiting on my pizza. My household favorites are the Howie Maui, deep dish pizza with my topping faves and their cookie pie! Definitely one of my favorite neighborhood lunch or dinner choices.

I js called the food place and he asked for my info then I asked him how much the pizza was he told me the price and I told him that I'll let him know give me a sec, and he js hung up on me like he was fed up, no thank you no nothing he js hung up and it was in a rude way.

I don't know what's going on with HH but the pizzas are not up to standard. I ordered a small personal with butter garlic crust, the crust was crap, there wasn't a crust, it was flat like a cracker, it was nothing like what I ordered. And this isn't the first time. Being from Detroit i was a HH advocate, now I can't bring myself to recommend them any more.
