Lumberjacks Restaurant - North Las Vegas

Came in for a quick bite, early lunch/late breakfast, brunch to be exact. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with hash browns and the waitress asked if I wanted gravy on my hash browns….. I was clueless and in ahhhh when this question was asked, but sure why the heck not, cause who wouldn’t and if you haven’t tried hash browns with gravy, boy you are missing out. Now my 10 year old daughter ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and this is where it took a slight turn, she brought to my attention the burger being very bland, so she asked me to taste, as I’m about to take the bite, a slight odor hit my nose, the meat was not fresh, it smelled spoiled, as the waitress passed by she had asked if everything was ok, so I described to her what we came across, with a very annoyed look as if she was the one who’d cooked the burger tells me “we make the burgers here fresh” I simply replied with “no, no my dear, that meat is not fresh” as I laughed her faced told me a different story. I saw the bill it $36 for both of us, and we did leave a tip, but it is out first and last time here, and judging by the reviews we definitely should of thought twice before stopping by here! Please read the reviews and caution when eating here!!

Mandy L had the worst attitude to be a waitress. She was unprofessional and very rude 😒 😤 last time it food was wrong, so I came and gave it another try and still got my order wrong with an attitude with it.. not coming here 😕 no more tried twice with the same waitress again! So sad because I love how they have a nice place!

Visited Lumber Jack on Craig Rd at 7 PM on a Wednesday, and the place was completely empty- no customers & no cars in the lot. Should’ve been a warning sign! Called to confirm they were open, & they were, so we went in. Big mistake: the dining area was a sweltering 90° because all three AC units were down (thermostats set to 70°, but clearly not working). Waitress Passion was sweet but didn’t know much about the AC issue, saying the “hot season” is almost over. As a resident in this valley of 28 years: Not true in mid-August Vegas! It’s still 105°+ outside for weeks to come.
The menu looked great, & the food was decent, but the heat made it hard to enjoy. Pricing felt steep for two, & I’m hoping the refrigeration is up to par since it’s so hot inside.
Also, I slipped & fell on a slick spot near my table—ouch! Not sure what is on the floor, but it didn’t feel right while I was down there! No serious injuries, but it wasn’t fun. Passion was kind & checked on me, which I appreciated. Service was quick (out by 7:47), but the broken AC & empty vibe make it hard to recommend unless they fix those units. Hoping they get it together, as the 4.3-star average suggests potential.
I do want to say the place was very clean, everything in order, bathrooms clean. Just a huge bummer for them.

The atmosphere was very welcoming and pleasant, the service was top notch, and not only was the food delicious, the serving sizes were surprisingly large for the price. It was a very good experience, an amazing value, and I will definitely be back.

The staff was good but the food was not so good and overpriced. Had breakfast and a breakfast burrito with bacon was small compared to our other meals at the same price point and it had very little bacon in it. We also had a denver omlete plate, the omelet was mostly egg and cheese and very few of the peppers and onion's. The breakfast potatoes with the omlete were really bad and actually tated like they were freezer burned before cooking. The three meals we had were all priced over 17 dollars and should have been less than 10 dollars per meal in my opinion. Will not be visiting again.

The only reason they get 1 star is the server was good and Google doesn't go negative. They visibly had bugs, cockroaches! Had I seen the bugs before we got the food or before we ordered I would havewalked out. It made me so nauseous I just wanted to get out of there. I really do wish I had seen them before we had eaten, we never would have eaten. I know all restaurants have to deal with bugs however when you see them on your way to the bathroom and you see multiple scurrying out from under the wall and from under the booth. It's disgusting and you know they're in the food. It's time to call the health department. I hope they get the hint with this review they need an exterminator. As for the service our server was nice. My husband food he said was not good his word was gross. Bad flavor and to many peppers and potatoes, not enough meat. My daughter said her salad was the best part of her meal. Her baked potato was so over buttered you could have buttered 6 other potatoes. And for me we I added the broccoli cheese soup to my meal; BIG BIG mistake! It was GOD AWFUL. The only thing you can taste was the black pepper. There was no taste of broccoli or cheese just pepper and it was ice cold. Now I can see why there were so few people in the restaurant when we came in. We won't be back.

Our server was Mandy and she was very attentive and her energy was amazing. She was polite and smiled at everyone in the restaurant The food was amazing big huge portions. Will definitely return

The food was not good at all, ordered a breakfast and the item was chicken fried steak skilled, should have been called potatoes peppers and onions skillet. I would never come back to this place as i saw some sort of bug crossing the floor when i returned from the restroom. A more fitting name for the restaurant would be Lumberhacks. The server was the best part of my experience and hope she makes it thru working there ok. Sorry for the bad review but my mom didn't raise a liar.
