I've dined in this place a few times because of the Keith Lee hype. My experiences were not pleasant. Out of the six times that I have been here I've never had a soul taco, a soul roll or a fried green tomato. Everytime I come here half the menu is unavailable which is quite sad. All the drinks Kool-aid and sweet tea is just way too sweet. The soul bowl which seems to be the only thing that they ever have is not consistent, sometimes it's too soggy from yam and collard green juice. Sometimes the mac and cheese has different textures due to cheese and oil. The collards can also be way to spicy sometimes. The sghetti was way too spicy on my last visit also. The cat fish was actually good though. My biggest concern is the fact that everyone working during my last visit seemed to think we were visiting their home since everyone in the kitchen had on house slippers. I want even get I to the prices of things but each visit could run you about 50 bucks a person honestly and that is quite crazy. With that being said I honestly think they just need some real restaurant experienced workers who know how to properly prep for the demands of customers. There is no reason to have half the menu unavailable for any customer every visit.

The chicken was dry the fries tasted old The drinks Were expensive the eggrolls Tasted like cajun. Everything had a hint of Cajun. The mac & cheese was dry it tasted old. The corn was tiny, and half of it was hard the utensils were dirty. The music was loud I could barely hear myself talking. I get if they’re trying to for people not to hear other people's conversations but it’s ridiculous how loud it was they had inappropriate stuff on the TV, the music too the waitress and cook saw this on the TV and served kids there and didn’t change it but they paused it though and they added their tip and the tip was 60 dollars

First all that food was pack together in a bowl fill with yam juice to cover up the fact that their macaroni barely have cheese in it. Secondly I asked for fish they bought me shimp I said this not mine I don’t eat shimp the waitress comes back and said this is what you ordered i said no I said fish. She takes the plate goes to the back and put fish on top of shrimp I just smh because she don’t even know if I’m allergic to shellfish or not she never asked then she told me the back says she’s not allowed to remove food off the plate. Well I can say it’s my first and last time there. You got $30 in gratuity and never came over to refill my drink or ask did I need anything else. Never again

I would NEVER recommend!! The food is old like they cook it in the morning and just serve it all day. It’s crazy loud. They had a movie playing that was very gruesome. For a can of coke was 4$$$$ The food was crazy over priced!! Me and Keith Lee got beef. This is why a lot of ppl do not support black businesses

I was really excited to try this place, I saw it on TikTok and decided to order takeout for me and my bf to share. I placed the order when they opened to be picked up by 12:30, when I got there around 12:40 they hadn’t even started my order and by the time I got all my food it was almost 1:30. I also did an up charge on my food to add shrimp for $12 extra, I got home only to find that I did not get any shrimp with my plate. The guy tending the bar who I spoke to when I got there seemed a little annoyed that I ordered for takeout and was pretty dismissive about me having to wait. It’s a bummer because most of what I got was really good, especially the Mac and Cheese but I would never go back now.Edit to add: after reading a lot of the other bad reviews I see my experience is not unique. The owner or whoever it is that responds to the negative reviews takes zero accountability for any mistakes or unprofessionalism. Do better!

I order chicken it was not done. Food served in a bowl didn’t like that. Cornbread was cold it was white looking wasn’t brown. Collard greens flavored nicely too many stems in greens. Mac N Cheese wasn’t the best but it passed. Food served in a bowl, using real silver ware , but serving drinks in plastic cups. I do support Black owned businesses. I was visiting in Vegas. I wish you the best!
