Disappointed. Beef crunchy tacos extremely bland-the cheese had more flavor than the meat. Crunchy chicken taco, chicken had a sour taste as soon as I bit into it… spit it out because I didn’t want to get sick. However, the red salsa was good. I will definitely NEVER go back. 99 cent chicken tacos but only 1 other customer was there eating. I know, red flag.. but thought I’d try anyway. Save yourself time, money and possible sickness. Seriously, finish this meal less than 30 minutes ago and my stomach is making all sorts of sound 😔 🤢

Chicken tacos with all the fixings always hit the spot. Cashier was friendly or welcoming but I wouldn't let someone's bad day ruin mine.

To the date before today, Rivas was perfect!!! Now it's tasting like Robertos tacos, and that's not a good thing... The carne asada wasn't grilled like before. It was boiled or whatever Robertos does to their carne asada. Tasted the same as robertos. Sorry to say this, but Rivas, you're out!!! It's time to find a new mexican spot...

We purchased Menudo and got home and there was no hominy!! When I called to ask what’s what, they LIED and said you have you ask for it!! We have ordered Menudo several times before and they have always included hominy. What a joke! Stay away from this restaurant!!

Well I was looking forward to eat there.nice looking place.i stood there for over 5 minutes waiting to be served.i didn't want to interrupt the cashier checking her messages on her phone.this was Saturday 06/14/2025.so I just left.

Rancid taco meat. On several occasions the taco meat is bad. Like it was frozen/thawed/frozen again. We will never eat there again.

Food was great!! First time here & we were recommended to come here by our Mexican friend who also born in San Diego. I say this because it's hard to find good Mexican food out here & the food was amazing!

The only reason why we didn't give it 5 stars 🌟 is it shows they use Canola oil & we are trying to get away from eating at places with canola oil or seed oils. If they start using Avocado oils or Olive oil then we would rate this place 5 stars 🌟

That & they don't do military discount which Robertos & other competitors do so it definitely was a little pricey $75 total for 4 orders I listed above.

I used to eat from this location often. The food today was horrible. The burrito meat was overcooked (dry), and the shrimp salad shrimps were like rubbery and they forgot to put the chips. Will never eat from this location again.
