Just purchased a home in the area, so I thought maybe I should try the local pub & grill to see if I can become a regular. Enter the place and thought looks nice inside. Nobody welcomed me and the one bartender that was there was on the side eating and made me feel unwelcome like I was bothering her. I decided to sit and have dinner since I was already there. She asked me what do I want to drink and I asked for a drink menu and she told me “ we do not have a drink menu”! Wow. So I asked what was on tap? I ordered food and drinks and tried to enjoy my evening even though I didn’t feel welcomed. Maybe I picked a bad day to stop in or maybe not. Wasn’t my idea experience. I’m big on first impressions and that wasn’t how you welcome a new guess. When I left no one thank me for my business or wish me a good night.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. The bar/casino-side was moderately busy but so smoky my wife started choking and coughing as soon as we opened the door. Fortunately, they did let us sit in the empty dining room (where they were replaying yesterday's Lions game). There was just the bartender and a cook working so, we tried to minimize our requests and it worked out OK.
We tried the fish&chips and one of their burgers. Both were good. The breading on the fish looked a bit dark, but the fish was properly cooked.
Of course they had Guinness, but I asked the bartender for her recommendation and she suggested the house Irish Red. and it was really good. Despite being short-handed, they kept my wife's tea refilled and were quick with the beers.
I'm sure we'll come back again, gotta try their corned beef and cabbage! But hopefully it will be a day with some more non-smokers and staff serving just the restaurant (I hate running the bartender back and forth across the building).
Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, leave your kids at home.

It's a cool casual comfortable place to gamble and play pool that they have outside. The food is good, I hate to say this but the drinks are kind of weak. But other than that this place is great, I would recommend this place and I will continue to go when I do not want to get a buzz,

The bar service is great! The food is great when the cook shows up….. always the same cook that calls off. This would be my go to for my neighborhood pub if I could count on the kid showing up to cook.

We visited on a Tuesday evening, first visit ever. Dining room is closed during the week, but the bartender seated us in the bar area and was very attentive and checked on us often. Pool tables outside made us decide to come back. Very nice and comforting atmosphere. Pizza is FIRE! Will return soon!
