The waffles had a weird taste to them. I've gone to the other location off of Durango and they did not taste like that. Additionally the coffee did not taste good.

For Being in a strip mall with local owners this place is great. Super friendly staff even the owner wanted to make sure we had a good experience. Highly recommended the chicken and waffles were excellent and cooked to order not pre-made chicken at all. Will visit again next time I see my cousin in Vegas.

We ordered through Uber eats and this was borderline inedible unfortunately. We got the chicken and waffles, potatoes, scrambled eggs, and grits. It was all super cold and soggy, plus very bland all around. Wouldn't order again

The waffles themselves were really good. Unfortunately, they charged a ton extra for cheese in the grits or cheese on the scrambled eggs and which entailed putting a spoonful of pre-shredded powder coated cheese on the dishes. Everything came on small paper plates with plastic silverware and the butter they brought you for waffles was in those tiny little containers. Decent breakfast but wouldn't go back.

Thought it would have been a great place to eat. 1st the cashier is a kids that speaks so low and speaks fast, not happy for me being my 1st time there. Was not friendly. Then the food came out my waffle was cold and let they lady know and she went to put it in the microwave like I want a saggy waffle. Then the chicken tasted burnt and still blood in side of the chicken. Grits was still hard and how long it took to cook it, you would of Thought it was bomb.com.... not at all the only thing that was good was the sweet tea and lemonade. So sad!!!!!

This is such a cute cafe, it's my go-to breakfast spot. Absolutely love the food! The ingredients are very fresh and prices reasonable. I love the Breakfast Delight Waffle and scrambled eggs. The music is the cafe is one of my favorite parts of dining there, easy going soul type vibe. For delivery (doordash) and to go orders, they put the toppings in separate containers to make sure the waffle stays fresh. They have military discount and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

I never leave reviews for places, but hopefully someone will read this and save themselves from the subpar experience my coworker/friend and I had at this establishment 30 mins ago. To start the food was not terrible, but it did not have flavor other than my chicken having a burnt taste. Nothing was amazing about it. I ate the chicken with the help of the hot sauce provided however my friend did not finish hers for the same reason. At the end of our visit we were asked “how was our food?” By an older woman who I presume to be the owner or a manager. I simply stated “ it was ok” she then asked me what was wrong with my food and I mentioned the burnt taste. She did not like that answer and immediately got a very nice-nasty attitude with me and started explaining “ we fry all of our chicken the same which is 7 mins” and again I told her my food wasn’t terrible. I then mentioned my disappointment with the hash brown patty that was $2.75. It was decent however very small and underwhelming for the price. People deserve a little bit more especially if they are going to be served off of paper plates with plastic utensils. And she came again with an attitude which I did not understand because I did not offer my opinion. She asked for it. After that she cut me off mid sentence and walked away shaking her head.

Whether she was the owner or manager does not really matter, but she should first understand that she is representing this establishment. So, to owners of the company and/or the older woman with the burgundy locs she could use a few lessons in customer service as well as taking constructive criticism that she asked for, because again I did not go out of my way to mention to any of the workers the mediocre food you guys served me today. That was not something that I deserved, because I was respectful.

Many different establishments serve chicken and waffles but not many of them get both the chicken AND the waffle right. They do both very well here. Delicious!
