Good food and we can almost always walk in and get seats at the bar. Their Hamachi may be the best in town the last couple times as well. I also like that they'll make Spider Roll hand rolls with avocado for you.

Had a reservation for 8 people and they decided to make us wait another 45 mins because a walk-in group of 11 showed up before our reso. The kicker is that there was another table big enough to accommodate is in the room to the left but they said the space wasn’t “open”. Took our number down to call us so we knew when to come back and they didn’t even do that. Very poor service and disappointing experience.

If you like being jerked around, this is the restaurant for you. They gave away our reservation for 8 because a group of 11 showed up just before we arrived. They then refused to accommodate for their mistake. I suggest going next door.

We came here for a quick bit on our way to another venue. The wait was suggested to be 10 - 15 mins and turned into 20ish, so wasn't too bad. We sat at the bar and the chef was friendly and efficient. We ordered only 4 rolls and it came out to about $50 which was less than AYCE which would have been around $73 for two people. I wish the music was better other than that it's not bad for your local sushi fix.
What a great experience we had tonight. Came here with a large party to celebrate a family member's birthday. We were very lucky to get Briella as our server. She did a great job in making sure that we were all attended to constantly. Great attitude and great customer service. The food was amazing. We all ordered the all you can eat sushi. My wife has a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate her. A lot of places we have gone to in the past were unable to keep up and somehow slipped gluten into the rolls that she ordered. However, here at 2 Tha Joint, they made sure that all of her rolls were gluten free. They even accommodated our preteen child who loves sushi and was able to get full at a great discounted rate. All in all we had an amazing experience and we will definitely come back and enjoy this restaurant again. I highly recommend them.

Excellent sushi great service and all you can eat price is unbeatable for this quality of sushi. Sometimes I get brown rice which isn’t available in most places in Reno. We usually go with kids and everyone is always very happy with the meal and atmosphere! I would definitely recommend this place and we’ll be back for sure.

I went with my large family and the service was terrible. The servers weren’t making sure this family got the tickets right. Seemed like we got orders from another table and when we spoke to the owner “oh so he said he was.” He explained to my family that he shouldn’t make excuses for how he’s staff was receiving the orders but since we were such a large family that we could’ve made it easier for he’s staff. So if it’s up to my family to assist your staff in how to handle the tickets; then you get one 1 star from us. Cause if your staff can’t handle my large family what’s to say your staff can handle any large family for that matter….. hopefully however reads this review understands my families frustration with the service @ The Joint…..
