We got the Ono Pork and Teri chicken plates. They were delicious. They combos had generous portions. We will definitely be back.

Let me start by saying the food is always delicious. After trying this place a week ago, I've already made three trips. However, I came in on a Friday night. Put in a order to go, it took about half an hour to make. Which is totally fine for a Friday night. By the time my wife and I got home we noticed her order was wrong. I called and they said they'd have the right plate ready when we returned. They replaced her plate and gave us an order of banana lumpia for free. Which was a nice gesture. In spite of this, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed when I got home because now my part of the order was cold and so were the malasadas. I was so looking forward to those malasadas as I live far away from my Azorean family and don't have the skill to make them myself. They were still delicious, but I could only imagine what it was like warm.
The food is great, but don't be like me. Verify your order before you drive away. Like I said, the banana lumpia was a nice gesture, and I'm glad my wife got to have the correct order and warm. Just a bummer for the other twenty dollars or so spent that died on the drive back and forth.
I'm sure I'll be back, but I'll need to let some of that disappointment fade

Great food, music, and people. Phenomenal flavors and the shack chicken is a game changer coming from Las vegas on a business trip. This was an automatic favorite place to eat and chat with locals. I went there four times within a week period if Im ever in Reno, I already know where to go and get the best Hawaiian food. I'm taking some with me on the road before I leave town

Absolutely the best teriyaki chicken I've ever had. So soft, tender and an amazing flavor. Their pork lumpia is also one of my favorite foods at the moment.

I was craving authentic Hawaiian food (not L&L) and I found Aloha Shack through Google. As soon as we pulled up I noticed the Hawaiian flag and when I walked in they were playing the islander reggae. The cashier was super friendly, she gave us some great recommendations and we opted in for the Kalbi Short rib, Kalua Pork & Katsu chicken. The food was delicious especially the Mac Salad (one of the best I’ve had). For desert we ordered some of the banana lumpia, and it was delicious. I’m already bragging to my family and I can’t wait to go back.
