My first visit to Aloha Shack today as recommended to me by a friend. I ordered the Chicken Katsu & it was delicious! Way better than L&L’s chicken katsu. Can’t wait to go back & try other items. Highly recommend

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Ordered the ahi poke and my girlfriend got the barbecue mac and cheese bowl and we definitely have no complaints. Its kinda further than we expected but we'll worth the drive! We'll be back and tell friends and family about the experience!

We ate lunch here multiple times. On my first visit, someone recommended the shack chicken. The chicken was breaded and cooked perfectly. On my second visit, I tried the teriyaki chicken and some spam musubi. This was my favorite. The restaurant has great music playing while you dine in, but it was just a little loud. I'm positive they would turn it down if you asked. The service was excellent, and the family pictures on the wall were awesome to see such a happy family. I highly recommend you try this place out. Update--I'm returning after 2 years and the food is just as good as I remembered. Ordered the teriyaki chicken again with the macaroni salad. Place looks the same with some added gear for sale. Looking forward to eating here regularly.

This was some of the best Hawaiian food ive had in a long time, you can taste the skill and love they have in their food. the portions are very generous cooking with quality ingredients. They have lots of choices with a big menu of all different types of island dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time trying this place! Their Hawaiian fried rice was so yummy! I also had chicken katsu & Mac salad - both good, the katsu sauce is more peppery than some I’ve had, but it’s still good. The mac salad was really REALLY salty, almost to the point of taking away any other flavors - but it wasn’t inedible. Overall I’d say it’s pretty solid!
(I rated atmosphere a 1 because I had it delivered so I can’t judge that, and I rated service a 3 because of the same thing, but they didn’t forget any of my stuff!)

The food was okay. The macaroni salad was very salty and had olives in it (ive never seen it before but it wasnt bad.) Almost all of the food we ordered was spicy which isnt bad if you like spice but we didnt realize it would all be spicy. The flavors were great just werent expecting the spice. The spam musubi was great though, perfect ratio of rice to spam. Staff were very friendly and patient.
This place was yummy. I love island food. They have a wide variety. The pancet was ok. It had too much cabbage which took away from the noodle taste. I also got kalbi ribs which were yummy. I got mac salad and cabbage salad. The mac salad was very good. I also bought a hat that says samoan. I would love to go back. They were very friendly. The artwork was beautiful but the place was freezing and it was raining outside.

I saw this on our local TV news and knew I had to go! I loved the food and atmosphere, took me back to my days of living in HI, well worth the drive for the poke bowl! And had a great discussion with the owner, he is doing chicken wings absolutely perfect! Def check it out!
