While the website suggests it's an intimate lounge, due to its size and echo chamber-like interior, it could feel different on a busy night.Yet, drinks make up for it. The glass is chilled and the bartender is easy to deal with when she is running solo.

I love this place, perfect date night pre dinner cocktail spot.

This is a cozy little European inspired social spot for amateur mixologists. There's only 4 small tables with bench seating inside, so probably best experienced as aperitif or digestif around your meal. The area gets a little sloppy with college kids later in the evening. The venue is small enough that your server and your bartender are one and the same. The drink menu is eclectic and interesting. Highly recommend giving it a shot one night! The quaint, tucked away location along with the quality drinks offer an experience other local venues can't offer.Only suggestion would be to dial the music down about 25%. The music works with the environment, but the volume overwhelms the conversation that would pair nicely with this intimate setting.

My dream cocktail list! I am a gin fan and there were several options on the menu. I went for a white linen and my date had a sazerac and both were lovely. It was quiet at about 8 pm which made for a nice place to grab a drink to end our night. The old building, mirrors, candles, and plants made for both a cozy and swanky vibe. At about 9 several groups came in filling up the tables, bar, and even one outside table despite the 30 degree weather. It's a small space so better for a couple or two than a big party. There is room outside for warmer nights.

I've always wanted to try this place, it's a bar in midtown that offers Italian inspired cocktails and spritz. I won a gift card to Amari which finally gave my husband and I no excuse not to try it out. Being centrally located in midtown is nice and it has a few small seating inside as well as a very cute courtyard with seating. Small tables, plants, lights and cure Amari and Campari signs. My husband tried the marzipan old fashion and it was really good, he wished he tasted more almond like flavor but I personally really liked it and I don't drink whiskey or bourbon. He also for the French 75 and it was a good classic drink. For myself, I usually always order an espresso martini when I go to places and the bartender was nice in recommending drinks based on my interests and she recommended me try this and a spritz. It was honestly one of the best espresso martinis I've had (and I've tried them all around socal, Truckee, Reno, Amsterdam, London, Croatia, and italy). Definitely worth trying, it's the perfect sweet to bitter to semi strong drink. After that I got the itailian riviera spritz and was also really good and don't know really know how to describe it other than totally worth trying as well. They also have Negroni, grappa and Amaro flights we will have to try next time. Definitely a nice place to relax and try some nice cocktails with the hubbie.

The worst!! The waitress dropped drinks all over us my friend got it worse wet pants full on wet! She never once apologized to us went to the bar got one rag and began to clean the chair and table as we stood there thinking she was going to bring us towels I told her if she was kidding? My friend is literally soaked and wet asked her to please get us towels to dry off she said sure and continued to clean the table and chair and not get us towels to dry we had to go into the bathroom and to our surprise no paper towels. Saw both the bartender and server rolling their eyes giggling and came back with one towel when there where four of us! They gave us new drinks cleaned the area I had to ask again for towels they where dismissive and plain rude. Two different couples got up and left mentioning they saw how rude they treated us they where not going to stay. Not once did they apologize. Don’t go! Spend your money and time somewhere else!

Best French 75 I've ever had in Reno. The ambiance is fun and very intimate. It would be a good spot to go for a drink before dinner.

The menu posted outside lists a Cherry Blossom Negroni, using cherry blossom infused vermouth. Sounds awesome! I order it, only to be told that it's no longer on the menu; the menu posted outside is over a year old. Lame.Instead, I had an Italicus spritz: I do not recommend it.

An intimate cocktail bar with excellently balanced Italian drinks. One of my favorite places to come back to when I visit Reno. The bartenders have always provided friendly, personalized service, and the flavors of the drinks are superb. Amari would easily hold their own pitted against cocktail bars in any city.

Food was so good. They gave great portion sizes for the shirt rib galbi. And the service was really nice and attentive. A great place to eat!

A classy bar with modern speakeasy vibes. It is tucked near Taco Shop and Death and Taxes. This is a quaint bar with limited seating but ample atmosphere. Their drinks were nicely priced as the cocktails were large. The unique menu item were their flights which are a selection of alcohol at sample size. I had the Amaro flight and it was a little out of my league, but it was an elegant set of drinks. My friends also had cocktails which was more my style. Too bad this place can only seat so many people at once. But it is a great place for bar hopping!

Amari is super cute and a great addition to midtown. I love it being next to death and taxes because both are great bars with different vibes that work so well being next to eachother!Drinks are cute, my friend ordered some kind of wine and it came with foo foo looking flowers in it which was so cute. Bartender was super nice and checked in on us many times to make sure we were all set. All of my girl friends loved their drinks. The vibe was great I love the lights. I can't wait to experience this bar in the summer on their patio. My only complaint is I asked for a mocktail or soda and they had neither. My only options were a Prosecco or grapefruit juice. A little bit of a bummer for the non drinkers and pregnant ladies out there who still love to have a date night/ girls night. But a girl can survive because this place is still very worth it!

Just visited Amari and I'm asking myself why haven't I been here yet?! We had the white linen and the royale and loved each of them. The white linen is sweet while the royale was just a tad bitter so it was a perfect pair to enjoy! The bar is extremely romantic and I hope to come back soon!

Such a cute little cocktail spot with great ambiance! The bartender had great recommendations and the amari-cano was dangerous! So refreshing and tasty!
