Stopped by this place while I was visiting the Atlantis Hotel & Casino during a Lake Tahoe trip. Group wanted to gamble, so gamble we did. I was actually super surprised they had so many food options inside of the hotel. My group had originally wanted to eat at the buffet inside, but the wait time looked to be around 2-3 hours, so we decided to eat elsewhere. Couldn't help but eye the tasty looking desserts this place had on display in particular. The presentation of the desserts is pretty pleasing! However, I thought they tasted just ok... Which is what I'd expect of a bakery inside of a casino. I got a chocolate peanut butter cake slice and cream puff with strawberry slices. The cake was fine. Kind of underwhelming on both the chocolate and peanut butter front. Texture was fine, and it was moist. The cream puff surprised me as it had custard on the inside. I had expected it to just be whipped cream, but even with the custard it was also just ok. The custard didn't really stand out in any way. It wasn't an overly sweet cream puff, which I'll give it a thumbs up for. Wouldn't really go out of my way to try this place, but if I was at Atlantis again and I felt something sweet, I'd try another item on display.

Today I went to Red Bloom for lunch. I had General Tso’s Chicken a little less spicy and they make it so delicious! Jaci took my order and asked me if I wanted any extra sauce, I didn’t! Abd a few minutes later they brought out my food! I was expecting egg drop soup but instead got 8 flower soup! It was nicely spicy and tasted wonderful! This meal also comes with delicious Jasmine rice cooked perfect. Jaci took great care of me and has great customer service! I will always give this restaurant 5 stars!?

Let me start by saying that the pastries here are delicious, and they make beautiful and delicious cakes too. The problem is that they are so disorganized that you run the risk of your cake getting lost or disappearing completely If you o. I have ordered two cakes this month for birthday parties. The first cake could not be found and it took over 1/2 an hour to be located. The second cake was completely lost and a whole new cake had to be made "on the spot" which meant we needed to wait around for over an hour and were late to said birthday party.

My husband and I were treated to a wonderful dinner after a very long day of driving. Both the food and the service were excellent. We will definitely eat here again when our travels take us through Reno.

Worst customer service.Need new management young girl at cah register hostess was rude and abrasive.Edith waitress was too.Chatting with young workers.Could not even get coffee.You must have a manager that cannot control help.If you are a senior you will be totally ignored.Never going back.....RUN!!!

Please read the entire first review about this being a hidden gem in Reno. 5/5: the look/concept of the cake and execution5/5: flavor 5/5: friendliness of all the staff - shout out to Dani also at the front for being so nice during pick up! Need I say more? You need to get a custom cake here. Having had that excellent experience with my sister's birthday cake, I decided to contact Kayline again for my mom's birthday cake. I'm so happy we did because we all enjoyed the cake. I reached out to Kayline asking her for an elegant cake. Our family is not a big fan of fondant. We think it looks great but the taste is not what we prefer. We enjoy whipped cream cakes. I gave her colors and told her elegant flowers but not something so overwhelming was the idea I had in mind. Boy did the team deliver! Look: 5/5 The cake itself was elegant. The flowers were well placed and the colors came out perfect. The accent pieces really brought a little something to the cake and the font was well written and sophisticated. Taste: 5/5 We got a white cake with some fresh strawberry filling. The cake was so moist and melted in your mouth. Even though the cake had to travel ~150 miles and it was enjoyed 2 days after the pick up and it was still absolute divine and tasted fresh. The whipped cream was the perfect sweetness and didn't overpower. Value: You're not going to find a place to get a better valued custom cake. I'm now literally looking for some reason to get a cake for next month from this incredible team... maybe Halloween? The coffee is Starbucks brand but the rest of what they serve is their own.Visited around 7 AM on a Sunday, and only one poor person was working. She was taking orders and making the drinks at the same time. The line was pretty long by the time I got my drinks. Drinks weren't quite up to normal Starbucks standards, but they weren't terrible either. If you're already in the casino/hotel and don't mind a wait, it's not a terrible spot.

My wife and I are Reno locals. We like to eat at the buffet several times a week. It seems that prices are being raised every other month, but the quality of the food is getting poorer!? The last two times we have gone there, the food has been cold, the fish is dried out, the grilled cornish hen was dry and hard, and the desert selection is getting smaller. Our favorite desert, the mouse cake, was not part of the desert selection the past few times we have eaten at the buffet. We don't mind paying more for quality food, but the quality definitely does not match the price. We have noticed there are less and less locals frequenting the buffet. We will add ourselves to the list if there is no improvement to the food selection and quality. Very disappointing to say the least. No restaurant should charge a high price (just because they can) for food that is unsatisfactory.

The girl Sunny who works at gourmet grind is not friendly everyone I go get croissants I have to remind her to warm it up and she isn't friendly or smiles she doesn't even say what cami get you started or what would you like she needs to be more friendly and smile more she looks like a grumpy person grouchy very grouchy person like I'm getting in line to disturb her

My husband and I went to the Atlantis cause we like to play there and we went up to the snack bar to get something to eat. We ordered some wings and corn dogs and fries. We were waiting for like 25 minutes for our food and I went up to ask the gentleman making them how much long and he said that is was almost done. I told him that we had been waiting for 25 minute and he said that sucks. I work in guest service and you do not talk to a guest like that it is just rude. My husband then came up and got upset with the gentleman who’s name is Kevin and he just kept saying that is unfortunate and was so rude. My husband told him fu and he said it back to him I understand that my husband should not have said that to him but kevin should not have said it back to him. He then threatened to call security on us and was doing just that we did not threaten him we just got in an argument with him. Very very bad service and very rude we will not be going back there ever again. Because of kevin being so rude our night was ruined. Do not go eat at the snack bar in the fun center at the Atlantis casino there service is awful and kevin way s very rude
