Wonderful experience as always. We love all the staff! Jesse was our server this time, and she was perfect!!! Always nice to see her. And of course we always love seeing Tony. We always have to have the filets, and the carrots!!

Wednesday dinner during the shoulder season and every table filled and turned over at least once. Tableside special cocktail service (smokey old fashioned), excellent steak, salads and seafood, impressive wine list, diverse dessert offerings and attentive staff. Acoustics challenging for both guests and staff to communicate - the only aspect that hinders a great date-night experience.

We have lived in the area for over 30 years and this was our first time eating dinner at Roxy's. We loved the service and the atmosphere. We were there for Happy Hour and got a three course meal for the price of the entree only. The food was delicious and the service wonderful!! We will go back!!

Our Maitre'd was Jeff. What an incredible welcoming, warm guy! Waiter was excellent, and the food was delish! PLUS> We got 20% off of everything for being a local and having a players card! We'll be back...probably sooner than later!

Generally, one of our favorite Reno dining establishments. They've had the same friendly staff for years, but a bit over-priced I think. My prime-rib was more medium than medium-rare and I had to ask for salt and pepper three times before I received them. Can also get pretty loud with large groups present. Over-all very good and consistent.

Everything was great as usual. Perfect crab cakes and steaks! One thing that they need to dial in is their Sushi policy, it is never the same, you may be able to tell a tourist different things, but not everyone is a tourist. One time the story was they get sushi because they are the owners, the next story was they got sushi because the restaurant was slow and another time, no story, go ahead and order...this doesn't effect me directly as I'm not a sushi fan, but when you invite others to dinner with you and tell them it's available, it would be nice if the policy stayed consistent.
The menu is very small. Only 3 steak cuts. Filet, NY or chef choice which was sirloin. The filet & sirloin were fine not great. The asparagus side was meh. The oysters were small and flavorless. Didn't meet our expectations for fine dining. The service was fine also but we felt rushed.

The ambiance was the main problem. When you spend alot of money on a special dinner the ambiance should be great. We were seated at a table with 3 buckets next to us. They were collecting water from the roof leak and they were less than a foot away from us. That area should not have been used at all in my opinion. It spoiled the feeling of the night for sure. The service was ok but not exceptional except the young man that picked up our dirty dishes and refilled the water.

While we have had enjoyable experiences in the past, this dining experience was not as pleasant. The prices have doubled, the quantity has decreased, and it was SO LOUD that we couldn't talk to each other across a two-top table. My husband's steak, while prepared to order, was just a slab on a plate. No vegetable, no garnish, nothing to indicate it had been plated properly by a CDC. Gone was the bread basket that allowed people to select at their choosing an amuse bouche. Instead, a woman with a basket came by the table ONCE to ask if we wanted bread. We got one slice each. That's all. It was if we needed to flag someone down to plead our case if we wanted more and risk seeming like beggars on the street. I miss the old Roxy, and with it, the old Reno.
Sides were delicious but the sauce that came on my filet was cold. The side of my steak without sauce tasted good and it was cooked exactly how I liked it but cold sauce made it a bit disappointing.

Hope was our server and she was great! And her busman was the best! I think his name was Jerimia. They made a good team! We started with oysters Rockefeller and then split the beet salad. I had the lobster special and my husband had the fillet. We enjoyed the experience!

Our annual visit to Roxy's started about three year's ago when we were dinning for my son's 7th birthday. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming especially Albert he made our visit a night to remember. Ever since that first visit we make sure to have one evening dinner to visit with our family friend Albert. Thank you Roxy's for always making us feel at home.

My guest and I were seated in a room away from the piano bar, very quiet. Service was excellent from the person who seated us to the person who removed our dishes and served us the coffee. The early bird special included a first course and dessert along with the entree. I've been to this restaurant a number of times and always have a great experience.
Our reservation included a semi-private table request to celebrate a special event. This was ignored, and we were placed at a small table right in the middle of the restaurant. This location was also near the kitchen, which is the noisier area of the restaurant. The food was amazing as always, but the staff were not up to par for a restaurant of this caliber. Drinks took what seemed like an eternity. When the food finally arrived, we had table staff trying to remove our items before we were able to finish them. It felt like pressure to wrap up and leave. What was surprising is that we were not eating slow either. We wanted to leave at that point. We were so disappointed that we were looking to head elsewhere to celebrate. In short, Roxy will no longer be my go-to place for special celebrations. For the money, I expect atmosphere, food quality, and, most importantly, exceptional service. I am actually the last person that you would find leaving a bad review. I simply don't leave reviews, but this was too hard for me to ignore. It literally changed how we felt about the evening.
