Although the food was good, the service left soooo much to be desired. My girlfriend and I waited for over 15 minutes past finishing our food to receive the check, and the only reason we did is because our waitress's kid saw me waiting for the check and told her. This was AFTER she had looked at my girlfriend and I waiting for the check (sitting there and talking, not eating and our silverware down) and walked to the back of the restaurant. I understand that they do DoorDash as well, and while I would normally be understanding, she was rude to us and extremely slow with her service when we first came in. The water we received was room temperature and was served to us in single use plastic cups that look like they came from the dollar tree. Speaking of dollar tree, that might be where they got their booth seats from as they looked mangled and used beyond belief. Once again, the food was good, especially the garlic naan, but after being charged $22 for an entree that was listed as $15.99 on the menu, I didn't care too much about the one good thing about this restaurant. I genuinely feel ripped off. Boo.

My family and I went yesterday (Sunday) they have a "buffet ". When we arrived there were two or 3 customers and we waited around 10 min to finally see a host. Food taste was ok, but not so great for the "elite" service offered. Maybe not fresh food. The trays barely had food and some dishes were too spicy!! More salsa than meat. The tandoori chicken was very dry and the dishes are mostly vegetarians. Mango lassi is good but very small.! Something was not right on the food we had diarrhea the rest of the day. We had been in different Indian restaurants and never had this issues before.

Every time we go from San Fran to Reno, this is our go to Indian place. Awesome food, wide selection of Indian food. Never disappoints. Highly recommend. In Bay Area, we have a lot of Indian restaurants and this one compares very high even compared to Bay Area Indian restaurants.

Food was decent. I ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. It was mostly sauce and barely any chicken. The sauces for both dishes was pretty mediocre. We also had samosas which were really good and pav bhaji which was also decent. Wasn’t worth my money tbh. Hopefully they improve in the future.

I ate there on Saturday while in Reno for a business meeting. This has to be the worst Indian Buffet food .. period. I have been to 100s if not more of Indian Resturants in the US. The food was old, cold, poorly prepared (from Idly to Tandoori Chicken and everything in between). Some of the trays were empty (like Mixed pakoras). I was there not too late in the afternoon, All that for a hefty price of $22 (per person with tax). It seem the resutrant is run by a husband wife team without any help. [Sorry Folks]. The desert was just kheer (really !!) and of course no salad. The sambar wasn't good at all. In any case, I don't think this is a worthy of an Indian Resturant and surprised they had a 4.1 rating. Highly disappointed ..

Called in advance about my allergy. They said they used the stuff I'm allergic to, but they could make my food around my allergies if i gave them a heads up. Called day of, and placed an order and they said they could do it, and they were going to check on the allergen but said it shouldn't be a problem. I drive there and they said they could only sell me rice and Naan and other stuff I didn't want. I was very disappointed.

came here for buffet, only 2 people were sitting, that should have been good enough for me to ring the alarm bells but I thought may be food is good even though not much variety and I sat down. Most the dishes are just microwaved and not fresh. This is such a disappointment, no taste, no variety, zero quality. Please avoid for your own good. I was looking for at least one good dish and not even one. Eat here if this is the last place in reno left to eat for you.

I ordered to go food; the Tandoori Chicken (which was a skimpy portion and very dry) the rice side and some garlic naan. They said my order would be ready in 10 minutes but it took 50 minutes.Pricing issues: Everything was at least $2 more than as listed online, and I was told that the prices had not been updated yet, duh! I called in my order but viewed the menu online. Online price for rice was $1.99, I was charged $4.99.If I had known the naan was going to be stale, flavorless, and dry, I wouldn’t have ordered it. The price of the rice wasn’t worth it either. Too expensive for what you get.As I waited (way too long) for my order I noticed the place was unkempt and run down. The entry door was covered with handprints and filthy. Most of the booth seats were heavily worn and uncomfortable to sit in. I noticed more and more dirt as I waited for my order which grossed me out and sorry to say this but I decided I wouldn’t be back.I was here before when they were newly opened and since I don’t live in that part of town I had forgotten about it. I came back cuz I remembered having a good experience the first time… not this time.

The food was fantastic. I had the Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani and it was such a perfect level of spice when I asked for spicy. I also ate samosas and the texture was also just perfect (a great combination of crispness and moist). The tandoori Roti was also something special with the great texture. I was very impressed by this restaurant’s mastering of the smaller, finer details in a dish.

The chef came out and talked to us about all of the food. It was such a great experience and everyone was so nice. The food was amazing and they even packed out leftovers for us when we left. 10/10 we’ll definitely be coming back!!
