Best little hidden gem in Reno. Staff is exceptional, wine for every pallet and food is beyond belief. If you want something different and above and beyond, this is the place to go!!!

I went there around 4 o'clock on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet and cozy. Also, there's a happy hour seafood menu with wine to pair with for that menu. And the staff there recommended a very serviceful, delicious wine that goes with the food. I'm going to visit here again

Excellently curated wine selection without being overwhelming with a remarkably harmonious dinner menu. The staff are very kind an friendly, and Niko is quite knowledgeable in regards to his craft. Don't miss out on nights when there is music on the patio. I look forward to coming here again and will certainly recommend it to others.

Tucked away from Reno’s usual suspects, this place is in a class of its own. I’ve traveled through Europe, and for a few hours, I genuinely forgot I wasn’t back in a tucked-away bistro in southern France or a wine bar in Florence. The ambiance, the pacing, the menu — everything felt like a mini vacation.

The cuisine? Unlike anything else in town. Every dish was thoughtful and packed with flavor — clearly made for people with a diverse palette but still welcoming to anyone just looking for a good meal. From the starters to the mains, there wasn’t a single miss. And the wine list? Chef’s kiss. Thoughtful, exciting, and not a “safe” selection in sight.

Our server Tim was a legend. The man has the soul of a sommelier. He walked us through pairings like it was second nature, and I’m now proudly adding a few of his recs to my weekly wine rotation.

And shoutout to Nico, the owner, who clearly pours his heart into this place. You can feel his touch on every detail — from the curation of the menu to the cozy-yet-elevated vibe. It’s rare to find a spot that nails both food and atmosphere so effortlessly.

Great for a date night. Great with friends. Just… great.
But please, don’t come here. It sucks.

This eclectic place is great! Lots of different wines to chose from (Nico or his staff can help you there) and the food is wonderful. We have yet to order something we didn't devour!

Best wine bar in Reno!!! Food and wines are all top notch and makes you feel like your in Provence. Nico is such a wonderful host and makes you feel so welcome. His knowledge of food and wines are amazing. Definitely try all the imported treats he brings in from France to take home with you.

Beautiful little spot. They had appropriate staffing (!!!) and everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was inspired... Most definitely not charcuterie boards and grapes. The duck confit was magical. They had a beautiful singer that night who absolutely blew me away and her accompanying piano and sax-flute we're fantastic. Will definitely return.

Tucked away with the unassuming charm of a well-kept secret, Belleville Wine Bar is a gem of quiet sophistication. Its cozy, intimate ambiance invites guests to linger, glass in hand, as if they’ve stumbled upon a favorite Parisian haunt, only closer to home.

The wine list is thoughtfully curated, expansive without being overwhelming, and pairs exquisitely with an impressive selection of charcuterie. But it’s the menu’s unexpected indulgences that elevate the experience: fresh lobster rolls, a refined smoked salmon tartine, king crab legs, and oysters on the half shell, all prepared with an attention to detail that speaks volumes of the kitchen’s quiet artistry.

Service is as warm and attentive as the setting, striking that rare balance between graciousness and ease. In short, Belleville Wine Bar is not merely recommended. It’s a place to return to, again and again.

Wow. What a great find. We didn't have food as we ate next door but we had a good time. Seriously one of the best experiences I've had at a wine bar. If it wasn't for the staff we were only planning on having a single glass of wine. The staff really blew us away and we stayed for over 3 hours. The drinks, wow again. The staff will point you in the right direction and give you wine you will enjoy. We will be back. Thank you Dustin, Dave, and James.
