The building's location may seem unassuming, but when you enter, you are pleasantly greeted by the staff and walk into a cool and sexy atmosphere. My husband and I came here for their Valentine's Day happy hour menu. We first ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir from Germany, which our server recommended. It was perfect! Then, we proceeded to order several of the small plates because we wanted to try everything. Let me tell you, every single plate we tried not only looked appealing but tasted amazing! Our favorites were the mushroom tarte, butternut squash soup, and the lobster roll. The mushroom tarte had a flaky, thin crust and was paired with arugula. The soup was served warm and creamy. The lobster roll had huge chunks of meat and served with a coleslaw. We will definitely be back! The service was good, even with the busy holiday crowd and we truly enjoyed our food and wine. Do yourself and favor and check this place out!

Gayle and I stopped in the other night after attending The Nevada Independent for IndyTalks: A conversation with Governor Joe Lombardo at the National Auto Museum. It was just a short drive over and I've been looking forward to taking Gayle here after a previous super Yelp Elite event here. The place was relatively quiet during our mid-evening dinner here, maybe 2 at the bar and 4 at another table. We sat next to a window near the back and in an attempt to not be sitting under a music speaker. The room remains nicely appointed with a hip and romantic vibe (at least for us). Our table and kitchen service was professional and helpful. The menu had severl different possibilities of which we chose a crab roll for me, a Burrata and Prosciutto Crostini for Gayle, and a shared 3-cheese plate. Although this is largely a small plates place, we found our portions to be generous, and our dishes to be well presented. Our shared meal was delicious and our French wine pairings added well to our evening. We finished up and headed off back to Genoa at 8:30 of which it looks like we closed the place, although the Belleville Wine Bar had 30 minutes to go. We're in Reno often enough that I'm sure we'll be back and maybe for one of the Happy Hours. And I was successful in getting Gayle to admit that she really missed the boat by not attending that Yelp Elite event with me Note: You can find the menu for Belleville's Seafood Happy Hour, but I came up empty for their regular offerings. Maybe it's just me, but I like knowing a menu ahead of time, and then reminiscing abut it after.

This is officially my new favorite happy hour in Reno! They're located in the outskirts of downtown - super convenient for all my NW Reno friends. You walk in and the ambiance immediately hits - dark blue walls and several different options for seating either at the bar, at tables or a comfortable chair lounge area. The fancy silverware also was a fun bonus too. The happy hour though - incredible bites and great wine at an affordable price. We enjoyed the straciatella app and a glass of the sauv blanc - I also liked that the wine selection is not your typical wines, but it encourages you to try something new! I will absolutely be back.

I've had the pleasure of stopping here on two occasions so far, once with a friend where we sat at the bar and the other time with a large group of women that they weren't expecting due to a miscommunication. Both times the owner and his team provided impeccable service while barely batting an eye at the increasing amount of work throughout the evening. The prices are a bit higher than someone would prefer however I feel that the quality is absolutely worth it, especially for their happy hour menu which runs every day that they're open along with special food menus on the weekends. I recommend the lobster roll and if looking for a light snack go with any of the cheese options. Service is impeccable and they're quick to answer all of your wine questions while educating you on what makes each one so different. I can't wait until they open up their patio this summer!

Nico is the proprietor. Nico is lovely. Great wines, great regard for your experience as the wine consumer. Fantastic food. Fantastic ambience. 10 out of 10.

We stopped by Belleville Wine Bar this past Saturday, and after departing, the first words we spoke were, "We have to return!" We thoroughly enjoyed Nico's hospitality, the service, the Charcuterie, the Duck Confit Bruschetta, the wine and the desserts! And yet there is so much more to try! The other small plates that we saw being delivered to other tables all looked wonderful. Nico's attentiveness (and that of the waiter's) and personality were excellent and complemented the comfortable ambiance of this wine bar! Belleville is a tasteful slice of Paris, right here in Reno! We'll return...it's good! Hope to see you there!

We've been to Belleville several times and are never disappointed. The service, wine, and food are all excellent. The servers are attentive and the owner almost always stops by to chat and share information about the meal or wine selected. We especially like their seafood happy hour days (dates are usually posted on their socials) and always leave swearing we'll be back!

Found this little gem while searching for a different wine bar Saturday night. The pros: First off, the decor! I mean look at these photos. Makes you want to settle in with your closest friends and order your favorite bottle(s) of wine. Speaking of wine, the wine list has something for everyone. I'm partial to European reds but there are also plenty of whites and sparkling; from home and abroad, at prices that will tempt you to stay for more than one. The staff is friendly & personable and they have a food menu that seems well thought out considering it's not actually a restaurant. Now, for the cons: well, I haven't found any yet- and I don't expect to unless they take a dramatic departure from the way they're doing things. Reno is finally getting some classy places to enjoy a great glass of wine with the people you love to hang out with.

I first discovered this place at a Yelp event which gave me just a taste of their offerings. I knew I'd be back. On this visit, I dove into their happy hour menu. Every dish is made with quality ingredients and is well balanced. The smoked salmon was tempered by a creamy dill spread. The goat cheese was grounded by sautéed mushrooms. The crab wasn't smothered by an over-buttered roll. I left full but still thinking, "maybe one more plate". The wait staff is professional and attentive. It seems like Nico (owner) knows at least half of the patrons at any given time. There must be quite a few regulars.

I went to Belleville on the advice of my physical therapist, who's given me many solid wine recommendations over the last year. I'm pleased to say he was once again right. I wasn't sure the ambiance would work when I first arrived: after all, it's in a former Starbucks. However, I'm so pleased by what Nico has done with the space, which feels intimate and communal at the same time and evokes a European wine bar. The wine selections are *wonderful*--Nico hasn't steered me wrong in my three visits so far, with wines that are beyond the usual "fruit-forward" overly sweet whack over the head. Instead, I've been treated to wines that are elegant, more subtle, and a lot more interesting than what I've had in many wine bars. The food continues to make you feel like you're in a European wine bar, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. For instance, I don't usually love humus, but now I crave Belleville's homemade version. My only quibble is that, as someone who can't handle dairy, my selections are a bit limited. However, that's fine: there's enough to choose from, and the wine is delightful.

I had such a great time during their Seafood Happy Hour! Their service was wonderful. The owner welcomed us and the servers were on point. The restaurant was pretty full but we were able to get seated within 5 min. Love the decor and the deals. Highly recommend the oysters! Will definitely come back!

The happy hour starts at 4:00 and is really lively with unique European food paired with wines. The oysters were the best I've ever had.. mild and sweet, just perfect! The owner Nico is a charming and attentive French/ American. Great music, china and cutlery all very unique. Located in town where on a former Starbucks. Plenty of parking in the evening.

Came here with a friend during happy hour. Such a cozy atmosphere , we chose to sit on their couches. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable! We didn't know much about French wines and he blew us away with his recommendations! We also split an absolutely delicious appetizer. Hands down we will be back again soon!

My husband and I went with friends to Belleville Wine Bar last night, and it was a wonderful evening. We arrived right at 4p for the happy hour. The owner, Nico, seated us immediately and he was delightful. The wine list was impressive, and the food was delicious.! The six of us ordered a few of the small plates and every one shared so we could sample them. We were not disappointed! As for me, the shrimp roll was the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend this wine bar. Do yourself a favor and check out this small new business on W. 4th street. Sue H
